Mt. St. Helens

It's going to erupt again!

!King_Amazon! 2004-10-02 02:32 PM

It didn't erupt last time, it fucking BLEW UP.

zagggon 2004-10-02 02:40 PM

No, it was an eruption.

KagomJack 2004-10-02 05:17 PM

True, it wasn't an eruption. Mt. St. Helens just exploded. Had the power of 500 Atom Bombs (or so some video we had to watch in science said)

PureRebel 2004-10-02 06:19 PM

maybe it lied?

woo die!

KagomJack 2004-10-02 06:32 PM

maybe I should smash your head up against a brick wall until some form of sense is knocked into you...or until you bleed profusely and cry like the little pussy you are...

what was I talking about again? M'kay, yeah, Mt. St. Helens gonna explode. That's pretty bad, hope they evacuate people.

wilma 2004-10-02 06:37 PM

Mt St Helens erruption/explosion whatever you think it was is wrong. Its called nuiee ardanté (dont know the exact spelling). That is erruption comes from the side of the volcano rather than the top. In Mt St Helen's case, there was a landslide only days before on one of the sides. This created an easier route for the gas/magma/whatever to escape. It began to bulge and when it finally errupted, it was more of a flamethrower than a volcano. The cloud shot off like a rocket horizontally fraying right into the people bellow. If it had gone strait up like they normally do, there wouldnt have been a problem and people wouldn't have had lightning fast cloud of superheated material coming right into their face. So stop bickering cuz ur both wrong.

KagomJack 2004-10-02 06:42 PM

Wow...that's pretty informational dude. I did not know that. Ya learn something new everyday.

Mantralord 2004-10-02 06:48 PM

Eh, I went through Hurricane Andrew. And 2 other hurricanes in a matter of a few weeks. A stupid volcano doesn't bother me.

??????????????????

Boom Boom Boom.

Lenny 2004-10-03 11:08 AM

Aparrently, the Yellowstone volcano is about 30,000 years overdue, and last time they know that errupted, it was about.......think of it this way. If the erruption of Mt. St. Helens were a golf ball, Yellowstone would be a very large ball you could park a car behind, or something like that.

that is the single worst analogy I have ever heard.

Lenny 2004-10-03 11:14 AM

What?? What's wrong with it? I quite like it myself.

What would you say then?

Yellowstone is gonna be FUCKING ENORMOUS in comparison to Mt St Helens.

Hows that? simple enough for all those simple people

Randuin 2004-10-03 12:43 PM

Periodic eruption, like your mother!

`Insolence` 2004-10-03 12:55 PM

father on your uncles wash cloth*

It's going to make Krakatoa look like pop rocks in root beer. If/When yellowstone goes off, america will be forever scarred with a what, 50+ mile crater where yellowstone was?

Shouldnt happen anytime soon though.... and hopefully by the time it is about to happen, we'd have means to help reduce the pressure.
