Can someone simply spit out the absolute best gear for a Zealot? I don't care how uber it is, just let me know. Thanks.

I'd go

CoH or Enigma
Andy's Visage(cham) or CoA(ber cham)
HoZ (um)
Dracul's Grasp
Gore Riders
String of Ears or Verdungo's
2x BK rings or 1 BK and 1 Raven (switch a cham in helm for ber)
Mara's (Or Highlord's if you don't need the resists and aren't at deadly strike cap)

As for weapon, either

Ethereal Upgraded Headstriker (Zod)
Azurewrath (Ber)
Ethereal Death Cleaver (Zod)

Don't look at me, though. I've never played a Zealot. Something in there has to be right, though, just by sheer statistical ordering.

you want z vs z? or over all melee zealot? or over all caster/melee zealot?

No such thing as the absolute best zealot gear. Builds can be made off nearly anything and theres always a build to destroy another zealot build. If you wanted the absolute best gear it wouldn't be possible to find nor get. The absolute best gear would be rares with the most wonderful mods imaginable such as a rare ethereal Cadeus with +2 Zeal +3 Fanat 420+ ED 2 Sockets repair 20+ IAS and a armor ethereal repair 180%+ Enhanced Daefense with AR Bonus % based on level (99% at lvl 99) 2 sockets and +life or Str. And other items such as a Rare Ethereal Zakarum Shield with 60+ Enhanced Damage 105 AR all res +2 SKills increased block repair and 2 sockets. Items like this can spawn and are worth mroe then any of us could imagine. Then there are items like set items or basic uniques we can find that can make a devistating zealot buil.d Simply put, there is no best, there is only the reccomended and the foundation which is easy to build a zealot off of.
