v/t weapon...beast?
 

why not use beast and max conc for v/t? would it do more dmg? and still have enough ias? also for the ow!

some people use a 4 um'd grizwold weapon for 100% of open wounds

Because beast doesn't give + to skills... there are lots that are better...

Use a hoto or something. Definitly use an Up'd HOZ if you can afford it.

Beast would be the best V/T weapon if you can find a 5 socket Caudeus that has +3 Holy Shield, +3 Concentration and + something else V/T like. Beast would produce the most damage if you found a weapon to spawn stats like this. The total damage outcome would be about 200 more Smite. In doing this for smite damage, your FoH damage would be reduced due to no + FoH skills and you would loose other valuable stats such as resitances and Faster Hit Recovery or Stun effects and range. Fanat actually does more % Damage then concentration does, this is why you need +3 to skills on the Beast base. The odds of finding this weapon are around 10,000,000,000 / 1

And why the hell would you suggest using a Hoto Sovy? It has no IAS what so ever for Smite and it has pretty close to useless stats for a V/T. The only thing that might be viable on it is +3 Skills which wouldnt matter cause your smite speed would be so incredibly slow you would be better off using a magical weapon with the Suffix Quickness mod.

V/T's have a lot more to consider than Skills/Resists. You need to consider IAS, OW/CB mods, Range, etc...

Also, a decent amount of ED% on a high-damage weapon is always good too, when you need to charge people.

ive already calculated this b4 and it comes out to a caddy with +3 hs +3 concen +3 smite would be better than anything else, in damg terms by a few hundred, as in silence/other + max fanat u gain a more flexable weapon choice, the only thing that makes beast a bit better is cuz of the versatility to give concentration to others or in 1:1 keep on convition to use an foh advantage but you must be quick on hot keys.

simplified: not worth building your char around 1 item, cuz it makes you weaker to elemental attacks and such

best Smiter wep suggestion would probably be a rosebranded of quick, asterons, or if worst comes to very worst, use a goddamn lacerator; its very bm but that amp packs a wicked punch into smite; ive personally been usin a rosebranded warscep of quick berber 2hs 1 smite; works for me =)
