Favorite Roller Coaster?

Tie between Millenium Force and Top Thrill Dragster.

MF: 310 feet tall, 94 mph 81 degree drop
TTD: 420 feet tall. 0-120 mph in 4 seconds. VERTICLE drop.

Penny_Bags 2004-07-28 03:42 PM

Uhhh? Scooby doo island?

Titusfied 2004-07-28 04:09 PM

Where are they located? Are they coasters or free-falls? They must be new, since a few years ago, the largest drop on a coaster was like 2xx feet, but the largest freefall was in Six Flags, Anaheim, and was called Superman, which is like 4xx feet high.

-Spector- 2004-07-28 04:11 PM

uh, i dont like roller coasters that much >.<

Sovereign 2004-07-28 04:45 PM

www.cedarpoint.com

They are actual coasters.

Superman is 400 feet high btw. It's launch speed, if I remember correctly, is only 100 mhp :p.

Titusfied 2004-07-28 07:01 PM

Oh yeah, fucking Cedar Point is the bomb digity home slice! I wanna take a road trip there and bomb it! I mean, ride the bomb roller coasters!

Penny_Bags 2004-07-28 07:53 PM

Titusfied, you just ruined my night.

Titusfied 2004-07-29 09:27 AM

Sorry, but I don't care... err, understand.

Thanatos 2004-07-29 11:28 AM

Man, I haven't been to Cedar Point in a long ass time. Wouldn't it be cool if we all met up there? Pwn.

Slim 2004-07-29 11:29 AM

That would kick so much ass. I've never been there but I've wanted to go since the first time I heard about it.

Jessifer 2004-07-29 01:45 PM

So far my favorite roller coaster is Shivering Timbers at Michigan's Adventure.

Type - Wooden
Highest Point - 125'
Top Speed - 65mph

It's ranked as the second best wooden roller coaster in the world. w00t.

Sovereign 2004-07-29 01:48 PM

Wooden coasters = whiplash.

No thanks -.-

Anyone heard of beast? Or was it son of beast? (i think one of them's it....) Its the only wooden roller coaster to have an actual loop in it.

Penny_Bags 2004-07-29 01:53 PM

Yeah Sov, it is aproximately 5 minutes from my house. PWN. :D:D

Jessifer 2004-07-29 02:03 PM

I'm rather fond of wooden roller coasters. There's another ride at Michigan's Adventure called the Rip Cord. It's fuckin' sweet.

Doink. Here it is.

Penny_Bags 2004-07-29 02:26 PM

Yeah, Paramounts Kings Island, the home of The Son of Beast that Sov mentioned, is in visible range if I stand on my roof to see over a little tree line.

Thanatos 2004-07-30 12:22 AM

I've been to King's Island countless numbers of times. My friend rode every ride and only puked on one of them... the freaking Spongebob 3D adventure! Needless to say, I was LMAOing.

MightyJoe 2004-07-30 07:35 AM

Cedar Point is the only place to go for roller coasters. And Millenium Force, is by far the best ride. Also be sure that you sit in the front, that is what makes it number 1.

Dr. Geekstar 2004-07-30 07:37 AM

[shame]since i live in belgium and i like wooden rollercoasters as well:
The Werewolf in Sixflags[/shame]

Penny_Bags 2004-07-30 07:40 AM

Where do you live, Thanatos?

Titusfied 2004-07-30 08:29 AM

Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey has some pretty badass roller coasters as well.
