Socom ps2 first online game
 

was recently reading about this in game informer looks awesome and it'll be released in either june/july what do you guys think ?

it'll be ground breaking, but based on what i've seen not tramendously good. The controllers we all own may be its undoing...

I hope it will be good...cuz I am so going to buy 2 ps2 online game!! FFXII and SOCOM!!!

my second online purchase for ps2, after FF, will be Armored Core 3.

AC3... that series seriously needs online play... being able to pit your core against cores everywhere is just what the series needs.

I just read that some games could be better controlled with a keyboard and a mouse but they will not let you use them because they allow for unfair play because the people with just a controller want have the same efficency

actually PS2 can be a computer. You can have a LCD monitor, a mouse, and a keyboard for it. BTW, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 is actually the first online game for PS2! Also, I would like to see Armor Core III online, man. I will like to duel all of you :)

I already know that what I was saying is that some games will not let you use the mouse/keyboard because it gives you an unfair advantge over those who only have a controller

Um, a PS/2 is a computer. IBM used to make them; they were 386s and 486s and had some inovative designs. That is where we get the PS/2 keyboard and mouse connectors from, as well as several other features that made it into modern motherboards, though their quick swap drives that were as tall as a 5¼" drive and a wide as a 3½" drive never really caught on.

Next time someone calls a PlayStation 2 a PS/2, I'm gonna scream

nope, there's both a mouse and a keyboard for ps2 (usb)

Just like they did for the Dreamcast... it's nothing new.

I mean only mouse for PS1, unlike PS2!!!
