The wall
 

My only soul is a cloak, and I gave it away. Now my wearer is gone. Far gone on the other side of the wall. The wall I bang my head against. The wall I cannot look past.

The truth was taken before me; encapsulated on the other side of this long-lost utopia I dream about. My vision is blurred; mind riddled with cracks. My head turns violently when my lips touch this cold steel. For the wall is impervious, and my harrowing cries echo back as they batter this blackness.

My life is a cloak, and I gave it away. Now my wearer is gone. I cannot look past the wall. The wall I bang my head against. The wall I wish to hurt me. The wall I want to ease my pain. I can no longer scream. I wish to respire no more. I no longer yearn for a future in this devoid dream. These fallacious hopes. For my only cloak is gone.
