A little advice

My advice to you all: Never stay over at your friend's house while their parents are away. Never.

Ok, here's the story.

I get off work to discover my friend (Robby) has called me like 34 times on my cell. I call him and I can tell he's drunk. The call went something like this. "YoOoooo!!!!!! Hey, dude-man! Come over to Jackson's house so I can you know like.. talk to you man. Please come yo?? Dude, lemme tell you something...!!" - I just ask him, "What is it..?

He's like, "Noo!!!! Come OVER HERE ASAP DUDE!" and then he hangs up. I'm really friggin tired, but I go over there anyways. I rang the doorbell and he (Robby) answers and he's balling his eyes out. Apparantly, being drunk and having a panic attack at the same time don't mix at all. He's crying one minute and laughing with me the next. Anyways, that's not the point.

There are about 10 people over there and this huge ball of smoke piles out the door as soon as I open it. I'm trying to quit doing everything, so this really doesn't help at all. I end up going home to get my contact solution so I can stay the night over there because obviously Jackon's parents aren't there.

I get back and about 5 more people have showed up. We talked and smoked and drank(well, they did anyways) and I just kinda sat back and laughed at how stupid they were. We tried to play basketball around midnight and it was so fucking funny! Watching drunk people play basketball almost made me piss my pants.

I fall asleep around 4. His parents got back in like 2 days and I didn't think anything else about it. Well, a week later Jackson calls everyone and says somebody stole around $300 from his parent's room. Apparently, we were all in there(this one dude was looking for porn). Most of us made are way outta there, but 3 stayed. While looking for porn, this guy found the $300. But the 3 that counted/touched/talked about stealing it DIDN'T steal it, or so they say. Well, two of them took lie detector tests, and both of them passed today. If the 3rd guy passes HIS lie detector test, I'm going to get questioned. I know I didn't take it, but my mom(that night) talked to Jackson's "mom" to make sure nothing would happen. It wasn't really Jackson's mom, but his little brother talked to my mom because he has a really high voice.

If I have to take a lie detector test, I'll never be trusted again. Man, I'm screwed! So, like I said before, Never stay over at your friend's house while their parents are away. Never.

shit man, that sux. I hope they find the person who stole the money. assuming its not u, ur story sounds reasonable to me. Hopefully u pass the test. I have gone to a friends house with 6 other people without my friends parents being their, but his older brother was. One of my PS2 controllers went missing and I figured someone stole it, but i couldn't figure out who, eventually it showed up. Not nearly as bad as ur story though. I feel real bad for u man. I bet someone while say someone else stole it and get someone in shit.

Well, if you get caught doing this, it will look like an admission of guilt, but there's one pretty surefire way to pass a lie-detector.

Take a strip of masking tape and punch a few flat-based thumbtacks through it so the spikes are sticking out of the non-sticky side. Then stick the strip of tape to the bottom of the inside of your shoe. Step into the shoe and await pain. If you've got those thumbtacks jabbing into your foot the entire time you're answering their questions, you're going to be too pre-occupied with the pain to be nervous about answering the questions correctly, and therefore, your test will show you as telling the truth.

Ask the other three guys if anybody checked them or patted them down for their tests. If nobody checked them before the test, and you're seriously scared of failing it, that's always a last resort option.

Tacks in the shoe is so old you would think they would check for it,But most of the time they dont. Jizmo if you didnt do it you shouldnt have any problem with that test anyway.

I don't think he's worried about the money questions. I think he is worried that his parents will take advantage of this and ask about his past recreations with drugs, sex, etc. That would scare any teenager. I for one would want to kill myself if I had to divulge any of that type of information...

At least if they ask if he drank that night he could say no and it would be the truth. You should have no problems with the test unless they ask you questions that have nothing to do with the situation as Titusfied said.

yea just have all ur parents' questions asked on the test and they'll kno that u didnt drink that night

kaos 2004-03-24 04:37 PM

That's nothing to be worried about. If you didn't steal the money then you don't have shit to worry about. Hell, if they said I stole the money and I get prosecuted for it even though I didn't I'm going back and really steal the money that I was prosecuted for.

Anyway, today sucks for me too. I got caught in school again. This time its a different school and they found my pipe (with resin) , zags, and a lighter. And also this time I got caught with a freind (we ditched the weed before going into the cop's office).

I'm just sitting here reading this:

How to Forget Life Sucks

Well, the third guy that touched/counted the money PASSED his test as well. So, that leaves me, Robby(the guy too pre-occupied with panic attacks), Bryce(he left at like 4 in the morning for no reason at all; he can't drive and he lives with Robby and Robby spent the night over there), and the two brothers that live over there. I know I didn't take it, and I know Robby didn't take it as well. He was smoking downstairs while I was trying to sleep. He ended up falling asleep before me, so I know it wasn't him.

Bryce is a little weird though.. I think it might be him. Why leave when the person you live with is staying the night.. walking home as well. The fuck?

So, here's what's gonna happen with me. I'm going to go to court to take a lie detector test with my parents being there. I can drive, but apparantly you can't drive to court by yourself if you're a minor. That freaking sucks. Most likely, my parents will find out that people were drinking/smoking over there and accuse me of the same even though I didn't do shit. They will find out I lied to my mom when I told her parents were over there so she didn't have anything to worry about. But.. apparantly she does; bleh.

I'm probably not going to be able to hang out with those guys anymore, who are all I hang with out of school(most of the time). Anywho, this sucks. I'll keep you guys updated.

DaFrigginDoctah 2004-03-25 12:29 PM

Okay. I'll have my Mommy stay the night at my house whenever I have fwwwiends over.

Thanatos 2004-03-25 01:02 PM

Wait a sec DFD, was that supposed to be funny?

You know, I think you're losing your game. Maybe you should just stop posting alltogether instead of making yourself look like an ass. Yeah, that'd help.
