how to change the number of players?
can anyone tell me what i have to type to set the number of players in a single player game? because i am not getting much xp for killing monsters and i wanna boost this.

Singer player game? Why don't you just get a game editor...
|
Yeah exactly... Whats the use in playing single player if you're not going to use a mod or something.
|
well i play single player because i have only 1 phone line and i use dial up connection so i can only play on battle.net for about one and a half hours a day. and i have never played completely through the game through all three difficulties by my self so it is kind of a personal quest thing. and i have read about it somewhere that if you type in some thing in a single player game it will change the difficulty of monster and the xp you get from them. basically making it like you have more people in an online game.

ERm I've personally never heard of anything like that, but there are drop mods for single player, not sure if they're working for 1.10 tho.

Upping the Party Members in Single Player and TCP/IP
Typing "/players X", where X is a number between the current number of players and the maximum (8), in the message box will set the effective number of players in the game (in single player, open Battle.net and TCP/IP games only). This will increase the Monster Difficulty, Experience, and Item Drops. this is what i was talking about i couldnt find it the frist time i look on the summit tho. |
Ahh sorry, I've never played single player mod, but I didn't find anything when I first scanned over AS. lol

I don't really play single player either, but that's pretty damn cool.
Me and a friend played some TCP/IP over our LAN and could've used that... I guess it pays to randomly surf Arreat Summit. |
I also can only play 1 and a half hours on bnet a day so i end up playing single player. But when 1.10 came out i type in players 8 and it doesnt work. But i dont need it anymore since ive quit.
