I need to know how to remove a gem or jewel from a socketed item???? :confused:

i heard ppl talking about it on d2 and was just wondering!
b/c my friend has a baba and he want to get the 2 jewels out of it..

You can, although I don't know the recipe off the top of my head, check diabloii.net.

The runes/jewels/gems in the items disappear though, so be warned.

1 Hel Rune + Scroll of Town Portal + Any Socketed Item = Unsocket that item

Is this unsocket cube trick a new 1.10 thing? never heard of it, and I played D2 since it came out.
