Ok im not new to uo plaayed for many years but i have just been given a prospectors tool (hammer) as a smithing reward just wandering what does it do and what skill/level do you need.

Ps just like to take this time to say your shard rocks do you have quest at all?

also any guilds out in the realy world :) (im in haven atm) have space for a sword swinging smith/semi tinkerer

Prospectors tool tells you what kind of ore is in the spot you select.. it will say like You prospect this area and find copper ore can be mined here.. I dont think theres a skill level.

if you want to know things about guild take a look at the My Acropilis area of the main site. There is a section on there for guilds noting players, average skills and individual player skills.
