Mine are Pink Floyd & Lynyrd Skynyrd o_O

God there are so many Metallica, The Doors, Eagles, CCR, Stones, just to name a handful I guess.

Pink Floyd, Tool, Led Zep., Dream Theater, OLD Metallica, Does Steve Vai count?

erm, im more of a new metal n punk guy so guess id hav 2 say bands like sum41, disturbed, [spunge], blink 182 (not so keen on the new album tho).... etc.

I didn't know you guys were gonna say so many lol. Guess I'll add a few more to keep up. AC/DC, Guns N Roses, Dixie Chicks, David Allan Coe, old Metallica... just to name some off the top of my head

Bah, screw those punk pop bands, their lead singers all sing like they have a cold with a stuffy nose.

Nice to know people like Metallica, because they are the best band in the world. Pink Floyed comes second on my list.

Old Rhoady lol, good guitarist. You don't see any lead guitarists that are l33t like they were back then. I'm gonna have to go with PillaR, blindSide, you guys are gonna grimace but, Evan...essence, well, they aren't a favorite band but I really like their song going under, it takes skillz to mix a song the way they do, btw sum 41 ewww, but it's your tatste lol.

Raist likes those dumb nu-metal bands. So far he's had Evanessence & Disturbed in his siggy. Linkin Park and Slipknot top my list of most hated bands. They sing the same thing over and over again.

EDIT: I hafta confess though Slip has one KICKASS drummer

Steve Vai = Greatest guitarist of all time. That's an un biased statement. Listen to some of his music. I like Zak Wylde, but he isn't musical, he's very fast. John Petrucci is good. Randy Rhodes owns for free.

Try listening to Soilwork, the mars volta, or fordirelifesake...if you even attempt to tell me that fordirelifesake is NOT tallented...wow..lol :/ And moneen, very talented. Just because the music isn't a constant guitar solo doesn't mean they aren't good musicians :/

Heh. =/ I was refering to blink 182 and such bands. I have no listened to many of the ones listed. I will tell you though that the guitar is the hardest instrument in a rock band.

I actually find drums the hardest...because I do play all of them :D
