Lightning sorcs
 

I was thinking about making a sorc with TS/nova/orb/light mastery

but are lightning sorcs still as dominant as they were in .09?

Only good pvpers, are those that invest all skills into 1 tree..

A good pvp skill (Really good actually) would be max charged bolt, max nova, max lightning, max lit res, that wouldnt do bad at all.

yea but im asking for strictly pvp...forget monsters altogether...lol

Meh, charged bolt is a little slow, but you can cover an entire field with it easily... and trap them in it, so yeah, it's pretty good, not too good of damage, but pretty good.

My sorc is an old fashions Lite/cold sorc and she maxed out nova, lite mast and i tried to do cows and it does absolutely nothing to cows same with orb. It's very sad, i think bnet f-ed over the old fashion sorc's like mine.

My sorc was PLOWING down cows with chain lit/lit/charged bolt in a 3 player game.

With full dmg gear, Deaths fathom, Griffon's Eye, 2 sojs, 10 lit charms, the CB dmg would easily top 1k, a bolt.. that is pretty incrediably, about 200 dmg a bot of lightning, at most 75 res (the -res from gear should cut it quite a bit) .75 x 200 (in my head) comes out to 50 dmg A BOLT, at a maximum of 24 bolts with no cast timer, that along with well placed tps, takes any meele character to their knees.
