Legend Of Dragoon
 

Well i started to play the game ealier and it look great. I like the music it make a change from FF type of music and it's giving a good mood. The game graphik kinda remind me of FF8 a little. But at least in legend Of Dragoon they dont need to break the Hero legs to get any help.

I just seen the dragoon transformation about 10 min ago. It kick ass. Well back to the game now :)

It's a pretty badass game, in my opinion. My only honest complaint is that it's way too long. Almost the entire 4th disc is unnecessary. Other than that, I loved it. The FMVs in that game are mind-numbingly badass.

And you'll come to understand rather quickly why I pitted Kuja against Lloyd in the preliminary round.

There only one thing i dont like so far.
The lack of inventory space. But other then that everything is quite nice.

Yeah, you really have to budget the hell out of your items. Although, here's a tip for healing yourself easily.

If you choose the "defend" option with a character in battle, that character will get a 50% damage reduction and some percentage of their HP back at no cost. If you're only fighting one enemy, you can just defend like crazy with everyone and within a few rounds, all of your characters will be at max HP. So, if you're low on HP, get into a fight, kill all of the enemies except one, and then choose "defend" with every character, every round until you're at full life.

Yeah, i been using that since the begining. First time for me that a game got Defend and it's more then decoration :)

I rented this at one point, the thing that stood out was the bad translation. Not a bad game though, and the Additions remind me of Mario RPG and Paper Mario, where you have to press a button at the right time for more damage...

Meh, i just finished the Hero tourney thing. The combo Lloyd was pulling were crazy lol. Im having feeling that Lloyd is that *black monster*. Dont tell me if im right or wrong heh.

Hah, I haven't played this game in quite some time. I remember when I did get it though, I literally stayed up for about 35 straight hours and beat it in one sitting. Then I immediately returned it and got a new game. :D

Great game though!

Rose attitude is quite funny.

Yeah, the goddamn translation is horrible. Considering how long it took to make the game, you'd assume that they would have put a little more thought into the dialogue.

Titus or BlueCube, do either of you remember the battle with Lloyd's female apprentice, Lenus? Was I the only one that got my ass kicked approximately fifteen thousand times before beating her?

Meh, i seen Lenus so i kept reading. Well im sure i will fight her again but the first time in the castle i didnt have any problem with the fight. God damn, the fmv so far are great.

Nice turn of event on the end of disk 3 even tho i became quite suspicious about Rose being the black monster as they started explaining more about the dragoon and she seemed to always care about what Dart would do to the black monster. But the Zeig part being alive suprised me heh.

As for Lloyd he seem similar to kuja in many ways. Thorwing everyplace into chaos. Playing everyone for fool, planning everything and being used by someone else. But not as destructive :)

When i fought him as a dragoon i must say i expected much more because he is suposed to be skilled swordsman. He actualy was missing very often and when i was in dragoon with Dart he would always try to 1 shot me but miss because of talisman. That battle wasnt that hard.

The only battle that was hard/long so far was that damn virage that got like 11 life and the Divine Dragon. God damn he's suposed to be almost dead. When you fight him and using the block staff to weaken him doesnt seem to make him that weaker heh.

What party you guyz were using ? Im always using Dart, Rose, Haschel. Wtf are those Stardust for ?

Oh, i got my ass kicked bad by one wingly spirit or something that cant seem to be possible to harm with weapons. He protect a teleport pad near where you fight Lloyd

Well i finished the game a little earlier.
Nice ending but there is some stuff on cd4 that are weird.
What i did mostly read on that game before i started playing was that the battle were suposed to all be endlessly long. It isnt true. Some are long yes but not every battle. Most Boss battle are just as normal if you are good with the Addition (Combo attack for those who didnt play)
