Good or a waste of time?
 

Could this be made good by a zod,runewords,ect? Or am i just waisting my time?

There aint any zod runeword. If the Zod bug still work.(Socket Zod, unsocket item and item keep indestructible.)
It could be useful but nothing great. You would use the bug then make Exile. But it is still a really low % block shield. So, for the rune needed i dont think it's worth to keep unless you would use it as a switch and put some diamond in there to gain a huge chunk of resist when needed.

Yes, item + tp scroll + hell rune. The stuff in the sockets will be destroyed.

Zod bug was corrected from what I hear. It was corrected within the first week. Same thing with upgrading an unid unique (Making unid bone helm into unid grim helm).

dude, if you have a zod rune, why the hell you will waste it on that crap, I mean zod rune can get you almost anything you want in the game.

Well considering the huge ammount of zod that been duped on ladder most likely lowered their value lot.

There is non ethereal paladin sheilds with 200+def anyway,
