Hell sucks!
 

Ok, im all the way thu hell, and baal is dead, but i cant do anything on my own cause all the monsters are immune to cold! and im mainly a cold sorc...so this sucks, i cant do shit in hell. Im level 75 and i cant even complete the den of evil in act 1 cause everything is immune to me :(

You know, sorcs can use actual weapons, IIRC.

Me and about 6 other people around level 70~ couldnt kill a LE corpsefire in a hell game

a zombie in hell killed my lvl 72 merc in 7 hits (he has 1300 life and around 1500 def)

Well from what i heard cold mastery doesnt work. That would be the reason why you suck.

`Insolence`, in 1.10 you cant make a sorc worth playing unless you are only using 1 elem.

My friends sorc is perfect for mf, idk what your talking about.

Probably that no skills can get max damage because of all their synergies. You can have a good non-maxed out Sorc, but not a decked out skill wise Sorc outside of one Element.

In 1.10 fire sorces are owning everything. And whoever said hydras suck was a dumbass because they are very good for pvm/nking ^^, but yeah cold sorces suck the cock now cuzz they were owning to much in 1.09 and Blizz fucked them in 1.10 by giving 75% of all guys in hell cold res.

Thing is you will be inneficient.
Here some little info.

Maxed Firewall + Maxed Fire Mastery.

Firewall Damage = 3377-3439 per sec.

Maxed Frozen Orb Max + Maxed Ice Bolt + Maxed Cold Mastery.

Let's note you didnt even include Ice Bolt that give bonus to orb but i will to actualy make dmg higher.

Frozen Orb Damage = 366-387.

Ice Bolt Damage = 174-227.

Cold Mastery = Pierce 115% resist.

No matter what other skill you would take wouldnt help as they wouldnt actualy work good.

These damage would have been good in 1.09. But in 1.10 it is puny. Mostly since you cant cast firewall and orb at same time.
In 1.10 you can make a build with many skill yes ! But you will be extremly inneficient.


Now let's see why.
I will show 3 build. One of each element.

************
For Fire Sorc.

Max Fire Bolt + Max Fire Ball + Max Meteor + Max Fire Mastery.

Fire Bolt Damage 885-1177.
Fire Ball Damage 3462-3931.
Meteor 6856-7314 and 678-739 per sec.

Since the synergy affect directly the other skills it will make any further points gained in Fire Bolt, Fire Ball or Meteor raise the damage of these spell extremly quick to eventualy make Fire Ball match Fire Wall and Meteor be on a class of it's own ! You can also cast Fire Ball during the time you wait to cast Meteor again ! There is also one other important thing. Meteor fire stay for 15 sec. and if you Meteor twice or more in the same area the damage per sec. will stack.

Now for Cold Sorc.

Max Ice Bolt, Max Ice Blast, Max Glacial Spike, Max Blizzard, Max Cold Mastery.

Ice Bolt Damage = 385-502.
Ice Blast Damage = 1062-119 Freezes For 20.4 sec !
Glacial Spike Damage = 675-727 Freezes For 6.8 sec !
Blizzard Damage = 2280-2476.
Cold Mastery = Pierce 115% resist.

It's similar to a Meteor build. But in this one you completly freeze your enemy then use Blizzard followed by Ice Blast untill you can cast Blizzard again. Now that is efficient damage ! Not as much as fire but you get the freeze/cold lenght advantage.

For the last, the Lightning Sorc.

Max Charged Bolt + Max Nova + Max Lightning + Max Chain Lightning + Max Lightning Mastery.

Charged Bolt Damage = 112-128 22 bolt.
Nova Damage = 495-710.
Lightning Damage = 3-5963.
Chain Lightning Damage = 3-3611 9 Hits.

So you can see, these are actual efficient character. Like any spell that benifit from Synergy the dmg will raise extremly fast with +skills items.
