Round 2! Magus vs. Fulgore
Arena: Winterbane Canyon
In the Red Corner, the forgotten Zealot Prince, the tyrannical master of the arcane arts, from Chrono Trigger: Magus!!! And in the Blue Corner, the android mankiller, the Ultratech terror, from Killer Instinct: Fulgore!!! The dark wizard stands perched atop the highest of the canyon walls' ledges. He observes the powdered ground far below him as a thick sheet of snow falls from above. As he searches for signs of his quarry, he suddenly hears a metallic whirring from across the chasm. There, at ground level, on the other side of the box canyon stands the vicious robot. The fresh, pure snow of the canyon floor gives way to the heavy, metal boots of the programmed berserker. Fulgore scans the ground and walls of his new environment catching a heat signature high up on the opposite side of the mountain crevice. The two lock with each other's gaze, and the battle begins. Whose remains shall soil the virgin snow? Will the nearly black blood of the merciless sorcerer freeze in this icy cemetary, or will the hard metallic shell of the android find a thick coating of rust when all is said and done? It's magic vs. technology in this battle to the death!! |
Fulgore would easily win this battel in my opinion. Although i dont know to much about magus i do know that fulgore was and still is the everloving shit as is the original Killer Instinct game for SNES. One Ultra-Combo and magus would be toast, or should i say ice?

Magus is a being who devoted the first part of his life to summoning a world-destroying entity with plans to kill it and extract revenge.
When Magus first meets Spekkio, the god of war, Spekkio exclaims that Magus could teach him a thing or two. Magus is gifted with magic of all types and has an extreme command of them. He has excellent defenses. (I'm not sure if general CT armor is allowed, but if it is, a safe helm negates 1/3 phyiscal damage aside from having awesome defense.) Fulgore, on the other hand, has proven no magical defenses. He is metal and would innately have a weakness to electricity. As stated before, Magus has the ability to cast a powerful lightning spell. I'm even ignoring Magus's ultimate spell, Black Hole, which is instant death. Since it doesn't work on bosses (Correct me if I'm wrong.), I'll assume that Fulgore is a boss, giving him the benefit of the doubt. Either way you look at it, Fulgore's about to head back to Killer Instinct where he can bully some people his own size. (Not Glacius of course; he's the man.) |
*Bump*

Well.. my bad then, i just like killer instinct game >_< and i dont think Fulgore was a boss more then anyone else was. The boss was that three headed guy i forget his name.
|
Ya, but as I said... the benefit of the doubt. Otherwise Magus could just cast black hole and the fight would be over.
|
So, does anyone have anything further to say in this regard?
|
I think it's clear that this battle is over.
|
Yeah, pretty much. I'll leave it open for the remainder of today.
