Whats the rule on .....
 

Take this example:


A member creats a topic in a 'starcraft' section. They have an idea to do something, now the moderator deletes this post before anybody has a chance to read it. This moderator, gay-assingly makes a sticky saying that he is going to do this....

Is there a rule against that ? I mean, if there isn't, there really should be.

Hey im new at of this. If you have any recommendations or questions pm or im me. It hought those set of rules would be in the best interest for the starcraft forums.

Is there really a need for rules for the starcraft forum, or a Scarcraft mod for that matter. It gets like 2 posts a week.

Well i offered to mod that forum so that i could try to get more activity into it. SO far so good. The starcraft forums have had 20 posts within the last 24 hours.

D3v i didnt steal your idea. I gave it to sen a while ago to post in ad mod. She did. Imo, it took too long to get a definitive answer so i decided to take it upon myself to start it. As uncapped said, this is my second day, and actually my first 24 hours with having mod powers, so relax. Ill get to it soon enough,.

Its funny, You had to go research to see who posted what/when in the starcraft forum.

Lets see, in the last 24 hours, I have posted about 10 times. In the last week, about 30.

Why should I relax! You stole my idea, put your name on it. You should die and rot in hell and be demodded for that. You put out a plan without having ANY INFORMATION ABOUT IT!

I don't have any problems with DV3 or Sovereign at that matter. But I agree with both of you in some sense. Seems that it will take a lot of time to get the forum active again. I mean anytime you have a dead forum. Someone has to post in there a lot in order to get the forum started up, think of it as Sovereign is giving the forum a kick start.

When I started my site I had to post a lot and the other Admin used to talk to himself in post all the time. And now after 2 months of doing all that, we get over 75,000 hits a month. I'll say that I haven't looked in there, but I doubt it's all Spam, and more towards getting the forum back up.

Plus, its only his second day or so as a Mod, it's going to take some getting used to before Sovereign can get the hang of it. Its not easy being a staff member, people tend to hate you more. Plus he is Man enough to say that it was your idea, and he just seem to be more on top of it according to the admins. And maybe DV3 is right, I believe the forum should be taken out, but hey lets see what Sovereign can do with it....

Well, its not being taken out because it gives Zelaron plenty of google, etc. hits from its contents open to the public. Also, isn't there a new SC game getting released soon? That will surely re-emerge that Forum from deadness.

Well if it is true that D3v posted an idea, then sov deleted it and put his name on it, that's pretty bad. The credit should go to d3v.
