mf question
 

i have a pure king'd gear sorc..king 4 sock b.valor, 3 sock b.occy, 4 sock ss, 2 sock shako
i also use: goldwrap, p.chances, b.travs, armageddon fletch, occy ring, b.con ring

with this gear..i have found less items than with my semi-legit mf gear on:

.ptopaz ethreal skullders, p.topaz shako, rhyme shield, ist ist baba, goldwrap, p.chances, 47 war travs, b.con ring, occy ring
(this is all on final hit for meph)

wtf is up with this?...does the mf on king jewels work?..does mf on b.con ring work? does mf on my king'd gear work???
i also got a b.smfc..does that mf work?

its best if you have your MF around 450-500. You have best chance to roll unqiues aswell as rares. Too much MF results in getting too many Magic items. Too less.. results in no uniques at all. My sorc had 500 MF or so.. and I found so much with her

exactly: that much mf will result in almost all blue items rather than uniques/sets. and the chance of those magic itmes being worth anything at all are 1-1121324345464565756778768

No...higher chance of finding Magic itmes (Blue) doesn't decrease your chance of finding Unique/Set/Rare (Gold, Green, yellow) items.

It will decrease the chance of finding non-magical item (White, Grey).

it actually does after u get to a certain point after 700 your doing more harm than good... i had 1250% at one point and the mf was beat i didnt find shit really.. and i cut it back down to 650% and im finding good shit again

well, it increases the chance for Magical, in a much higher proportion then unique after 110% mf...

but if you want to look for cruel ethereal/cruels/jewelers armors etc high mf is way to go

Dude why mf for those? It would take you a month or more to find those thrue mfing. Just look for them in hell act5 on lazurk...

ya...i'm going to cut back on the 7% and the b.smfc...see how much mf i got

:fire: Just like there must be balance in the force young one, there must be balance in the MF, hehehe! I once had just over 500 mf on my sorc and I was finding stuff left, right and center. I lost that character and now I am trying to rebuild her. So far I have 343%mf and already I am starting to find good stuff again. So ya, bring down your mf a little and see what you can get. If it doesn't work, then you still have those stuff to put it back, but if it does, then you will have stuff to trade and sell for some nice profit, or even make another new mf char.
