Character Battle Picture Thread
 

I know some of you don't know much about a lot of these characters so I've decided to create a thread dedicated to character pictures and/or information. If anyone has any questions, just post in this thread and I'll do my best.

Since the Mario vs. Mega Man X battle is nearly over, I'm starting this with Rikimaru vs. Solid Snake and will continue to add them in order of the battles.

Best picture I could find of Rikimaru, though if you want information about him try www.tenchu.de they have a lot of fanfic stuff that probably tells you more about the storyline that I can.

Alright, next up is Link vs. Cloud Strife...

Next up, Ness vs. Mog.

Good old Ness, equipped with psychic powers he saves Onett ( coming up on the third time in Japan ). More of you will recognize him from Super Smash Brothers than from Earthbound, so I found a render from SSB:M.

Next pair in the ring is Auron vs. Master Jinx

Auron is quite a shady character. Being a rather new character ( FFX, anyone? ) takes points off, but being a total badass adds a ton.

Master Jinx, master martial arist from Super Mario RPG ( now I remember ). He may be small, but he packs a punch.

Holy shit, good job finding the Jinx pic. I've been looking for about an hour and came up completely empty handed.

Squall Leonhart, protagonist of FFVIII and of course, another world's savior. He carries his Gunblade with pride, and I would too if I had a gun ( blade? ) as cool as that.

Next is Ninja Raiden ( lets just assume it's Grey Fox because Ninja Raiden was just an excuse to categorize the Ninja for play in MGS2:Substance ) vs. Tatsumaru...

Grey Fox ( read above if you skipped it you fatass ), the badass ninja from Metal Gear Solid armed with his soldier skills, a katana, and an awesome cybernetic suit.

Tatsumaru, the third character from Tenchu 2, and stealthy ninja brought back to life to fight on the side of Mei-Oh.

I suggest dropping the Raiden part and just making him Grey Fox since Ninja Raiden doesn't have an story, he's just a model change for MGS2:Substance so they could stick as a Raiden character to unlock. But if you want to bitch about it, here:

Hmmm, instead of putting these pictures in this thread, I think it would be better suited to have them in the actual battle. I didn't even see this thread until now, and I love the idea.

If you want, you can still put the pictures here too, but these should also be incorporated in the battles, either in the opening post, or really close to the top of it.

Yes, opening posts could very well use pics.

What about Ninja and that other person in the newest battle?

It was listed above. Robotic already found those pics for the viewers.

Also, don't be a fucking idiot and find a picture for Seymour when I haven't posted pictures for Samus and Turok yet. The point is that it's easy to navigate and in order and I'd actually rather all the other posts be deleted so I can keep it easy... I also wouldn't mind it being stickied.

Well, I'm not going to sticky it, because I want these pictures to be included in each Battle when they are taking place, as I've just done in the most recent one.

So what exactly are these guys battling about?! Chara design? Fashion sense?! Coolness?!

Actual ability, it's not about which character is drawn better, or is in a better pose in said picture. It's about the actual character and all of his or her abilities against another actual character and all his/her ability.
