Virus??!
Hey, can someone help me with this? My computer always has this pop up that says
Error: runtime error 5 at 0099729C What is this? sometimes if I close it, two pops up, and when I go into task manager it doesn't exist as it's own program, but my system idle is using 99 percent of my computer when this is on. I went into control panel and went into Admin tools : services : and disabled some stuff (to be able to stop it from duping itself), did I mention my firewall might be corrupted? Can anyone plz gimme some answers? |
when worse comes to worse, change operating system, hey you got to do, what you got to do!! :-(

"Fatal Exception 0x has occurred at xxxx:xxxxxxx"?
Is that the one? It's probably bad RAM. (at least that's what Microsoft says.. the syntax above pertains to Win9x.) ----------------- |
i get that error whenever i login in my other computer

Ok, first of all this belongs in the Help Forum, ( I believe, correct me if I'm wrong) But, This does not have to do with your RAM at all, it has to do with a program that is trying to load while others are still processing, you can get rid of the nasty little programs from popping up by going to :
Run: MSCONFIG Startup Tab: Disable ALL. |
Heh, I already did that (isn't obivous?), but this program can't be disable thats the problem it can be slow but not disable. I believe it should be a virus trying to open a potal or something but can't find it thats why the pop ups pop up. Plus you don't have to disable everything just the program.

Disabling everything than back tracking, is the best way to go..
