Thrower Barb
 

Ok i have just started making a thrower barb but i have no clu how his stat points go and also i dont know what weapons to use. Plz suggest some stats and weapon advice.

EDIT: Ok skills advice too. Im thinking of
max Throw mastery
max Battle Order
max Iron skin
max Shout
max double throw (im not sure on this one)
1point into all prerequisites
I do play hardcore by the way.......and maybe will make one in sc too.

throw barb is purely for dueling, no good for monsters.

Id make it a hybrid, go all out sword until your high level than get a pair of spears and goof around.

If you want pvp, than for your thrower i would suggest a minimum of 175 FRW, and use an archon plate with FHR or life.

actually it is pretty good for monsters i get atmas scarab and boooom! ive seen it in softcore cows even with average equipment.

for pvm'ing and dueling non eth users iron skin is good, but if you play sc you won't be tanking cows, or melee eth users, or ga so it wouldn't be neccesary on sc..

double throw doesn't need more than a point if you use 08 arreats, but if you plan using another helm i suggest maxing it.

Well i do play hardcore so i think i'll go iron skin and shout but can you tell me the best spears you can get and also the average spears.

any cruel of propogation (i believe that is replenishing?)

and for lower leveling, unq francisca and deathbit are nice.. leech ar deadly strike

Yea javs hehee yea propogation is a must i always run out -.- so quickly... Another quiestion does the ias on an ammy glove or armor help barb throw speed? I cant tell coz i lag spike like a biach. 400 to 3k ping -.-

nah u dont run out that fast, get of evis, i dont think ias effects it much if any =\.

Best is harpoon i think, or winged harpoon i dont remember.

harpoon is exceptional, winged harpoon is elite

the main breakpoint for ias you want to reach is 100% ias for 4.5 throwing speed

You think thrower barb will be worth making in hc or sc? im not sure because there arent any new unique throwing weapons. In 1.10 whats the max %EDamage on a weapon?

450% on rares is possible .

in v1.09 thrower is viable in both but they can be very good in pvp on sc depends what floats your about hehe :)

There is new unique throwing weapon in 1.10.

In 1.09 they were already fun and well in 1.10 they gonna be even stronger so im sure it s gonna be fun.

Well thats nice to see new uniques thanks kuja. I reckon a good throwing rare jav would be better than those uniques, they would have twice as much damage.

as much damage as you can get, they still won't compare to anyone else dueling, i bet a necro could beat a throw barb

if a necro can (Im doesn't affect ranged) any other ranged class hypothetically?

i've heard that rares can get cruel prefix and get 450% or more ed% :) nice damage hehe not including +evisceration +fools +screaming

Crafter too since they work like rare When you find a rare it got basic modifiers but there 1-3 random modifiers that can be added.

Same thing goes for when you craft item.

Like if you use Blood Weapon Receipe

A Magic Jewel
A Perfect Ruby
A Ort rune
Magic weapon that can be used for Blood Weapon.

Resulting item will have the following properties:
+ (30-60%) Enhanced Damage
(1-4)% Life Stolen Per Hit
+(10-20) To Life

and one to three additional random magic modifiers.

So a random modifier could be Cruel and add lot fo damage.
I dont know if it s possible to have twice the same modifier. I highly doubt it but i dont know.
