Siggraph
Siggraph this year will be held at San Diego, California, USA.
I will be heading there on the 27th for the conference, I was just wondering if any other graphic professionals from this forum will be going? -Randuin For more info on SIGGRAPH 2003 http://www.siggraph.org/s2003/ |

You live in Burnaby, and you are going down to San Diego for a computer graphics confrence? How rich are you? ;) But anyways, sounds like a good time.
Well Jamesadin... I will be flying down there by Air Canada and then staying at the hotel near the halls and well go to the conference with friends?

What, if anything, makes randuin a "professional"?!?!

Heh, Air Canada. Hopefully they wont go out of buisiness before you get to go, and before I get to go to Europe. Crazy crazy Air Canada.

A complete stranger, who has many works and experience in the professional industry who comments on randuin I will believe. You on the other hand I wont.
So Tai... What does it make anyone else in this forum a professional?
Ye realize that sentence doesn't make proper grammatical sense, right?
I can't understand it. Maybe you could rephrase it, Randuin?
I meant...What makes anyone else in this forum a professional?
Oh, well, I guess if they have studied the field of art, that might make them professional. Or possibly if they have been doing it for a long period of time (and is good at it), that might make them considered a professional. Thats just what I think about it, it could be different for everyone.
So therefore revoking all Tai's right to flame me.
define professional in this area? Good? or who knows their shit? or what?
Professional in this area woudl be that they actually get paid for their work....?
nah, someone who wants to do it as a hobby could be pro and it not be their work for payment.
