Important Notice!

I've noticed that members do not take moderators+ seriously in the forums, when a mod says something often members just turn their backs and stop listening.

Members should take mods+ more seriously because things like banning and warnings will be given out more often.
Moderators are not a joke and they're here for a reason, to keep zelaron peaceful and tolerable for members to come here by enforcing the rules.

It's our way or the highway (our way isn't cruel, it's logical) listen to the rules and everything will be fine.

Thankyou

Kuja`s #1 2003-06-10 07:45 PM

Who's kuja? I'm new here and everyone wants to either kill or ban him. Isn't there a way we can do this peacefully? Sorry I'm a teacher and resolving conflicts without anyone getting hurt. Oh well your the boss.

!King_Amazon! 2003-06-10 07:49 PM

I do believe what you did was unfair. It was his first offence, which merits a warning, and he's only been here for a month. He doesn't really know the rules all that well. Heck, everyone flames outside the flame forum.

I don't like him at all, in fact I'm glad he's gone, but I don't think what you did was right, so I think he should be unbanned.

Jamesadin 2003-06-10 07:51 PM

I agree, and I tend to take care of most conflicts without being banned, but the respect for moderators is at a serious low, and everyone must remember that they are doing a job. I have banned a number of people for variated, serious reasons, but if the respect level is dropping horribly, well then I think we could all use another level of rule enforcement. :)

EX-Mania 2003-06-10 07:52 PM

Everyone seemed to get annoyed by him and he always mentioned u and howmuch he hated u in every post, and insolence ect, but we will talk about unbanning him after having a talk with him and deciding afterwards.

!King_Amazon! 2003-06-10 07:53 PM

Not this extreme though. Maybe you should warn him and ban him for a few days or something, but what was done was too harsh.

Gsus 2003-06-10 07:54 PM

It was not kuja's first offense, and he doesnt know the rules well because he doesnt listen. I think Ex-Mania made a good decision.

!King_Amazon! 2003-06-10 07:57 PM

I believe it was the first offence he was punished for. I don't remember him ever getting a warning.

Senesia 2003-06-10 08:00 PM

Did anyone warn him offically though?

EX-Mania 2003-06-10 08:03 PM

His offence was too direct and he knew he was doing something wrong.. it deserves a temporary ban but i'll get him unbanned after a few days... this just serves as a more severe warning for a more severe offence.

Lets keep on topic though , if you want to talk about kuja's situation then someone start a thread but lets keep the topic: Not taking mods+ as a joke.

!King_Amazon! 2003-06-10 08:48 PM

You're looking at it the wrong way. You're a normal member like the rest of us, just you have a job to do here at zelaron.

I can assure you trying to be above people is a quick way of making enemies. Go ask Rurouni Storm.

Senesia 2003-06-10 08:55 PM

I don't know about Sup. Mods and Admins, but I think other Mods should be treated the same as everyone outside of the forum he/she mods.

I mean, there are a lot of moderators, while most of them only mod a small section of Zelaron. Usually when I come to Zelaron, 1/3 (or more) of the users online are Mod+.

Kuja`s #1 2003-06-16 08:57 AM

Really? Huh, didn't know that Senesia. I respect mods now. They're cool. I hope to be one someday so I'll try to stay on the path of the straight and narrow.

Ex-Mania...

If moderators aren't a joke, why are you a moderator?

Members should take mods+ more seriously uneless things like banning and warnings will be given out more often, A good example of this is Kuja, we had to ban him because he was directly flaming people including me OUTSIDE of the flame forum.

You want to know why the staff is not taken seriously? Because we have insolent, cocky fools, like Randuin, inside our staff. How you became a moderator, fresh after a ban, I will never know. How you persuaded Chruser to make you a moderator, I don't care. But now, you are a leader of a forum. Start acting like one, and cease raising hell just becuase you need to show off your "skills". Randuin, I despise you.
But then again, people are able to change. Arn't they? I have seen some members change after a warning, ban, etc. But you just don't change. Your shroud of professionalism, I am sure, does not cover the eyes of the people who do look up to the leaders of the forum.
Randuin, shape up. Because all people can change for the better. And I know your eyes are burning as you read this, you are angry at me. Sad, almost how it is.
Lose your old ways, becuase I am sick of it.

Randuin 2003-06-16 02:13 PM

All people can change for the better?

Then I hope you would start doing so.

Jamesadin 2003-06-16 02:23 PM

Think deeper than that, Randuin. Why do feel the burning urge to say things like that, to every member?

Randuin 2003-06-16 02:29 PM

No, it's just you, it makes me laugh how you think you're right

Jamesadin 2003-06-16 02:33 PM

Think? I know I am right.
