Photoshop jewel effect
 

I need help on how to do a jewel effect please. For the photoshop experts can you give me a step by step guide ^_^ if possible. Here is a website tutorial that has a jeweled shiny effect but it isnt in photoshop and i would like to be able to do this on an image im working on.

I want to implement the gold effect as well as the silver effect onto my work so yea, i need help on how to do those. I have tried a few links from the links thread and a lot of them dont work for me (the link that is).
