The Switch from Bugged/Hacked Pally to Legit
 

Alright, well, I've done it before, and yes, I'm going to do it again. I want to make a legit dueling Pally. This will be a pure Melee'er, with Fanatacism Aura, and attack switch from Charge to Smite to Zealing away. All of those are maxed right now too.

I have a decent weapon right now:

Cruel Mythical Sword
181-216 Dmg
30% IAS
325% ED
8 Min Dmg
Eth'ed

First question: Should I stick with that and an Ethereal BStar for tougher opponents, or should I socket Griz's Caddy with Eth and 2 x 40/15's?

Next question: For my armor, should I use a 40/15 Shaft, or 40/15 09 Pally Valor, or a 160/60 with 24 FHR?

I'm also thinking, 8/15 String, Gore Riders, Highlord's, Cham'ed SS, and I still have to craft my Gloves and Rings, but I won't stop until I get 2 X 11 LL with nice Str and Life mod rings, and a dual leech / 20 IAS / etc. moded pair of gloves.

Now, should I use Gores, or go with War Travs? I hear War Travs are good for more dmg, but I need the Deadly Strike Mod. Opinions are very welcomed.

Next, for my gloves, what is the most LL you can get on them? I think it's 6, but I can't remember?

Is it 48 FHR for 5 fps? If not, what is the first break limit for FHR I should go for?

About how much life should I have when done with charms and everything? LL? Deadly Strike (without Fury Weapon of course)?

Don't do that do Griz's Caddy..You can get better weapon for pally. If you can, try and get a Cruel Zerker/Sword with Lo Eth

What helm are you using? If you have 75% DR with all the gear then you can forget the shaft and go with 160/60. Then

Use Gore Rider. You need the DS. War Trav mainly for Zon/Asn/Baba.

Blood Gloves is 6%LL max. Would be nice if it has some CB. It helps, nonetheless.

It is actually 32% for 3 frames. 152% for 2.

Try and get to somewhere around:
900 ~ 1400 life
Try and get it to more than 1k, you'll be fine.
32~45+ Life leech
~40% DS

What charms are you planning to use?

optimal gear will be

cruel myth/conquest/zerker/tyrant/mighty scepter/ettin of __evisc/butchery/lamprey/ias mods/etc

lolo-eth or if only 2 sockets lo-eth ( zod-eth if ethereal :] )

ber x/8ll/17+ or 08 gaze
edmax/ias depending on weapon of stability/whale/titan

6%ll 20% ias +stat/life crafted gloves

ravenfrost/ll ring or 2xll rings based on ias requirements (if you need ed/ias in a shield instead of cham use ravenfrost)

33-44% ll is good enough to gain back most of your life

always use goreriders, crushblow/openwound/DS-

you want with highlords+gores+weapon atleast 70% deadlystrike

Is there a cap on DS? Or LL?

Is 08 Gaze considered legit in legit dueling games, or should I go for 09?

Also, how much poison can I have without getting bitched at? I think I have like 400 right now (4 X 100 pdsc).

There's no cap on DS or LL.

It depends on what you mean by legit duel games. In some clan/group, it is considered as dupe and is not allowed. But it is alright in other games, most of the time.

No matter what you do, someone will complain and whine at you, (if you win too much...) unless you are dueling in a dueling group or clan.

Alright, gotcha. One more thing. Doesn't fire dmg, if there is enough of it, stun the player too? If so, how much would I need?

Fire damage would sometimes put your opponent into forced recovery animation, which is like stunning.

no it doesn't its been tested only lags your cpu a bit. feels like stun, and most people have little/no fire resist.

08 gaze legit except very specific clans, like palapk wouldn't mind

Ok, this is where I am at after some wheeling and dealing on Bnet just now.

I now have a CHam'd 08 Gaze, 160/60 Archon PLate (no life or FHR mod), 40/15 max 09 SS, and no luck with crafts yet.

I started my craftin endeavors with Doofus a little ago doing the rollback method, but I didn't get any I need yet. So I'm still working on that, but he never came back online after we tried it, so I haven't done any yet....

Anyway, now I gotta work on charms and crafts, then I'm almost there.

I only have about 1300 life so far, and need to fill in a lot more charms though.

Oh, and I have 32 FHR in charms with 2nd mods so far. Also, what is the password to palapk games?

work on getting edmax/ 90+ life it will help alot and 80%+ of your opponents will use eth

and its palapk/1 palapk1//1 palapk2//2 etc
