Why waste your time? You could be doing something exceedingly more entertaining than playing that game. You could be stabbing your genitals with toothpicks. You could be doing anything but playing that awful, awful game.

I'd play FF4, 5, 6, 7, 9, again rather than spending time on FF8. I didn't finish the whole game......but I dislike it already.

3rd? Are the only other FF games you've played Mystic Quest and FFX? That's the only plausible reason I can see for someone placing that monstrosity of a game so high on their list.

Ugh... for all this time... this freaking topic comes up again... FF8 is just total failure... Square tried something new with the gay junctioning system and failed horribly... now I ask you... how did it get on your top 3 list...?!!? I mean, I beat the game, and no doubt it wasn't that bad... but HOW IS IT ON YOUR TOP T-H-R-E-E???? And another thing... don't use the walkthrough, Ultimecia's Castle is a big laugh... really simple, just make sure you CAREFULLY choose what abilities you will retrieve after you beat a boss.

I liked the way you can create your own weapon with items instead of buying or fighting a boss for it. I also thought the battle system was superior to other FFs.
