Phantasy Star Online or Everquest Online Adventures
I seriously need everyones honest opinion. Seriously, don't type any bullshit. And I don't need this to be up very long either, so for you moderators, after today (Wednesday; Pacific Standard Time) you can delete this entire thread for all I care.
Anyway, I finally have them all. A Playstation 2, Xbox, and GameCube, but now I have a problem. Back when the Dreamcast was bleeding and in Animal Channel heat, Phantasy Star Online owned all the Dreamcast junkies, including myself. Long story short, on Dreamcast this game owned me. So now I have a GameCube with Metroid Prime, Pikmin, Wave Race Storm and Phantasy Star Online. I know exactly what to expect from PSO, the Dreamcast version on steroids. The problem is that the broadband adapter for the GameCube is almost impossible to find. The ones on eBay are going for human souls. Not to mention that I have to pay a monthly fee and play without a keyboard, which Sega nor Nintendo have any plans on producing. On the other hand, Everquest Online Adventures comes out today. I have a Playstation 2, network adapter, and keyboard. Should I take back PSO (even though I might cry) and buy Everquest Online for PS2, or just bite the dildo shaped bullet and sell my soul for a broadband adapter, play without a keyboard and play Phantasy Star Online. Shit, I don't know what I want! Seriously, I need some really good opinions right now. If anyone has played Everquest and/or PSO and can tell me what they think, especially if you've played both then do so. I'd greatly appreciate it. ...Help! |
Keep PSO until they release the new PSO games for PS2. PSO is about 150% better than EQ.
fuck it dude, go for the eq.
I like how you can go online.
get xbox and then get pso and star wars galaxies
No not Xbox go to GCN.
I have an Xbox. And to play Phantasy Star Online on Xbox you have to purchase Xbox Live, and Sega's monthly hunters license fee. Not to mention, that you have to have Xbox Live, even if you decide to play it offline.
Oh I didn't know that sorry.
..............
Yippie!
Ok lets get back on topic.

SPAM!

Jeese I was just saying that it's sweet how you can go on line with phantasy star online and maybe that could help him.
I'll say it again, try to read the whole thread...in his first post he already said he has played PSO. Of course he knows it's online plus it's in the game's title.
Ok I will next time.
I am astounded by your complete lack of help to Jin. In fact, you have spent a day bitching over some guy making a stupid comment. Get over it. And don't have sex in the band hall. Some guy did that and it was just fucked up.
(Btw, still go for EQ, hardcore) |
Still, this thread is just another reminder of Quikspy's complete lack of intelligence and provides more reasons why he should put a bullet in his head or at least be ip banned.
Obviously you can play BOTH games online... Given the title of the thread, one could assume there would be a discussion of which is better. Though I would rather play PSO any day, it is really a matter of Jin's opinion. Jin- state what you think are the pros and cons of PSO and EQ. Then we might be able to help you more... |
Well I don't have anything good or bad to say about Everquest Online. I've never played it, however I have played Phantasy Star religiously on the Dreamcast. The only pros and cons are that for the Playstation 2 I already have a network adapter and keyboard. For the GameCube I do not.
Thanks for your help everyone. I kept Phantasy Star, and just happened to find an adapter for my GameCube as I was going to buy Everquest Online. Because I've had just as many people tell me to buy PSO as I have EQ I just decided that I'd demand my mom to buy EQ for me. Including Metroid Prime which I got yesterday, Zelda which I'll get in a month, PSO, EQ, Gun Valkyrie, and Herdy Gerdy (I finally found this yesterday!) I won't be buying any games until at least June. |
I've heard the Everquest was better but I like phantasy better.
I bought both. So...
