Throw barb
 

Making a double throw barb, axes, or whatever..
I just need some hints on skill/stats/items and whether or not ias is important. I havent noticed any change in double throw with less ias. I already have somewhat of an idea.. but not a good idea of tactics and such.

I thought i could get a nice +3 warcry +tele charge ammy or something, tele up to someone, ww/throw.. that would own just about any char i think.

my friends barb did 3k dmg with this one axe i have.. but he had alot of expensive gear, and the funny thing is.. not 1 pt in the mastery :)

if your really pressed for other skills (ww, nat resistance, bo, etc) mastery is NOT that important, just put 1 skill into it so that you have maxed critical strike with it

as far as gear, you MUST have v1.08 arreats, because your using barb, and because you can't have 'ethd' throwing weapon, it is a requirement to hit the enemies

err.. but arent .08's considered 'un-legit' ? i can get one from a friend real cheap (40/15'd :D)

I have a legit one.
Most dueling leagues that I know of allow .08 arreats face since it's not really overpowered (.09 is better in most circumstances), and arreats isn't that rare so there much more legit ones floating around that you might expect.

well it can really replace eth in a weapon..
+50 maximum damage can easilly be +600 physical damage
not over powred but definitely not week

It gives only 300 max on my barb and my sword has 415%ed.
It also won't beat eth, a sword with eth and gaze will almost always beat a higher dmg sword with 08 arreats but no eth if other gear is similar. From experience, I can tell you eth hits much more often than .08 arreats face.

depends on your also ..

the opponent will maybe have 1200 defense after the arreats?
if you have anywhere around 7000ar you should be fine

barbs that max shout/iron skin and use bugged valor, 09 arreats, storm, with a good lvl shout/iron skin will have 20k defense, 15% of that is still 3000 defense =/

hoho if your gonna make a throw bar use frenzy first to über throw ;)

well they would still die without much ease at most 45% dr with that setup?

20 double throw
1 frenzy
1 throw mastery
20 bo
20 shout
20 iron skin

Thats quite a bit of skills (like lvl 92 if i counted right)

But if i get hyperion javs *i think thats what they were called* their 1 hand dmg as well as throw is pretty good, so i could tp around, throw a few javs, tp up and ww them.. very deadly if it works right. Sounds too good to be true..

Can i get a basic skills/stats/items setup, cause im still iffy. 156/60 armor, .08 arreats, dual javs, 2x green warcry spears (for shits :)) one of my crafted ammys (6/4 dual leech 10 faster run walk 15 prismatic and some other mods i think 11 dex... if only it had +2 barb..) 11 life leech rings with dex for dmg/str in exchange for vit, immortal kings gloves, war travs, tgods/string.

Almost no dr.. idk what to do! maybe i could have shaft in stash, along with gaze/valor for faster hit recovery. And a few warcry charms with +12 faster hit recovery.. btw whats the barb faster hit recovery frame rate?

its less than 87, because your have the skill quests too

For the love of god dont put more than 1 into shout and iron skin.

Defense is pointless.

Max whirlwind, throwing mastery, battle orders, with 14 on increased speed, 1 into battle command, a few into nat resists. After that, put the rest into sword (or axe) mastery. Use sword(axe)/shield on switch (fbb works well because of low str requirement, but fury berserker axe is the best choice IMO).

K screw throw barbs, way to complicated and flimsy. on to pallys!

they aren't flimsy at all even with low % dr they can be deadly and still take punches from nearly every character they meet

Yeah, barbs can get optimum PvP gear with max DR and 4500 life.
I don't think even a bugged PvP paladin could get maxed DR AND 4500 life AND a good PvP setup.

yes but i dont pvp with bugged gear, and my pally is for something new, barbs are too easy, and to pointless.

ww here, or throw this, only types i see. and a good palyl could probably predit the barbs ww's and smack him at the end. move out of the way, let him ww, smack him, ww smack ww smack, seems like it would work.

or u could just get max blessed hammer, that might do.

heeh na only way u can use a pally and win a "good" barb is either high lvl foh or high lvl blessed hammer

I plan on making a legit throw barb soon, But I plan on using a ccboq/storm switched with a cruel winged harpoon/storm.
