Can monsters drop items with an item-lvl higher than character level?
 

I just wondered if it makes sense to kill meph with my lev 81 sorc in order to get a windforce ...

meph cant drop a wf...

If a lvl 1 char killed Meph (good luck) he could still drop anything he is capable of dropping. And WF requires a lvl 90 monster I think....

meph just dropped a blackoak shield and a gaze whithin 10 runs ... so i'm satisfied for today.

omg yur lucky. if only my meph runs were so succesful. best item dropped in 1500+ runs...

well u have suck ass mf cause i find alot of good stuff from mephisto and ive only done maybe altogether 200 runs

I must say that does suck for that many runs...Even tho i have never even found a buriza

Drop chart should answer your questions bout who can drop what.

Well it would seem to people who dont know much about that...that he could because he does drop the most unique items. Meph sucks !!! Pindle Sucks!!! who is good? Baal? i'll do manual runs on baal or some other monster if i have to...

actually mephisto is easier to access than baal and drops more than pindle

True he does drop MORE then pindle but pindle drops higher class unique items. Which is where the debate comes in. Drop more low lvl uniques faster? Or drop less high lvl uniques slower?
