Holy Shit, Patch 1.10!
 

Wow, I didn't know so much was going to be added and updated in this patch, although I should've figured that out since it is taking so damn long to be released... Here is another statement by GFrazier on Bnet Diablo Forums:

No 1.10 isn't adding Crafted Recipes but we will adding new Rune Words and plenty (over 100+) of other cool items. There is no word on new Cube Recipes but it's possible, and it's possible to add them server side at any time without a patch.

Wow, over 100+ new items!! I can't wait to see some of this shit! You think Pindle will still be able to drop everything and bots will still work to get these great items?

By "new items" do they just mean changing the stats of old items and making them "new"?

yes, that and making completelly new items, look at .8 items and .9, some light valors have massive mods as apposed to the new ones, they will eather be boosted up or nerfed down, both of which i would be expecting...

They have no artists.. which means that there won't be any truly new items... don't hold ur breath.

I heard they are going to BOOST melee attacks, pierce bugs, ETH bugs, iths, bugged items, dupes? prlly not....

My opinion: Wipe all of useast, west, europe and asias, then we will have fun.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind starting from scratch again, as long as everyone else was too! But then again, that is what the Ladder Characters are going to bring to the table, so we are kinda getting our wish!

Yeah, new and modifications will be made for the 100+ new items... Still, I can't wait to see some of the new Elite Uniques! Ooooooooooooo, Unique War Pikes, Flying Axes, Hurlbats, Collosus Swords, Balrog Blades!!! Not that these are definitely going to be ew Elite Uniques, but I really hope that a majority of them are!!

This patch is gonna have to be very damn good to succeed...

Unlike the transition from 1.08 - 1.09, now people are armed with all sorts of bots and hacks. Ready to use. 1.09 has had some of the most clever hacks/dupe ever.

In other words:
l337s are smarter, and n00bs are armed.

Yes it's true there are no artists working on the new patch, but that means absolutely nothing. The new elite uniques, if there are any, will most likely use artwork that is already in the game, like the elite uniques that already exist. For example, if they made a unique balrog blade, they would just use the same artwork as they did for the giant and tusk swords. I'm sure the main consern on the players is not the friggin' artwork anyhow, it's the uber loot.

patch is never coming , when it does i am gona quit because it will fuck everything up
