In the Computer Graphics section there is a new and fully organized signature competition which is now taking place as of today.

We'll see about this. The only forum I've been to that has successful organized competitions/battles is SomethingLeet [link] And believe me, I have done a shit load of them.

SL's foundation is based upon computer graphics, unlike Zelaron. now what's so wrong with taking a shot at it once in a while?
