i cant get a gold chocobo i dunno why i have tried alot and no luck any help?

Well, it's been very long since I played the game, but the only part I can remember is that you need to mate a Black Chocobo with a Wonderful Chocobo (found at the north pole trails) in order to get a golden one.

yeah i know that but i need the mating ya know wonderful+wonderful+nut=color?

Chocobo's in FF7 are separated into levels. (colour), if you mate two wonderful you get the lowest level coloured chocobo then you mate a pair of grade A chocobo of that colour to get the coloured chocobo that is a level up.

Mating two Grade A Blacks will make a Gold.

The only nuts you should ever need are Carob and Zeio nuts. Carob nuts are obtained by stealing from a dinosaur type area near Bone Village called the Vlakorados. Zeio nuts area obtained by stealing from the goblins on Goblin island (run around in the forest area). Goblin Island is towards the north east of the map south of knights of the round island.

What you could do XxViruSxX, is to check out the sites that have walkthroughs and stuff... I'm sure they would have lots of info about chocobos for the game..

if i remember correctly it's black and yellow? cant remember too correctly

Black one + wonderful one + zeyo nut + a little bit luck(save before try) = Gold one

and you aren't lazy enough to check around here...?

Is the Silver chocobo just fiction or can you get it? Heard you have to have 2 perfect Golden chocobos but not sure though

bah, it doesn't seem to make sense having 2 GOLDEN ones into ONE silver haha I think it should either way around if there was a silver chocobo.

To get a mountain (green) or River ( blue) chocobo you need to mate a great or a good chocobo using the carob nut. You can't buy the carob nut in a store, instead you'll need to steal it from from the vlakorados that roam the woods near the bone village. You can always increase your chanced of breeding a speical chocobo if the parents are both S racers.
The mountain-and-river (black) chocobo is created when a mounting and river chocobo mate using a carob nut. Again, it's not absolute, but you can increase your chances of obtaining a black chocobo by training the mother and father hard.
Only you have a black chocobo, you can attempt to breed the ultimate chocobo. These gold chocobos can go everywhere. Have the black chocobo mate with a wonderful yellow chocobo with a zeio nut. These nuts are the rarest of all nuts. They can ONLY be found on a small island northeast of chocobo ranch. Note: however, that there are creatures in woods known as goblins. You should be able to steal the zeio nut from them during a battle.

Good now that you have a Gold Chocobo the fun can start. Once you have one the game begins. You can go around and get all sorts of materia which include KOTR, Mime, Quadra Magaic and I think one more thing. Now to the reason I am writting. The WEAPONs. Ruby and Emerald. In case any of you tried to fight them without knowing their stats I am here to help you. Both there HP is precisely 1,000,000. People say Ruby is harder but that's bull. This is what you do. Kill both characters because of that attack of Ruby's. Make sure you either have great speed or sprint shoes. Cast Wall on yourself and then cast KOTR. Use mime to cast ithe attack again. Now here is the MOST important thing. Make sure that you cast Regan BEFORE Wall. Also make sure your KOTR has two stars or its useless. If your magic isn't strong enough use MP Turbo with KOTR. After casting KOTR twice on the tentacles they'll sink back into the ground. Then Mime Kotr on Ruby but beware you must have strong enough defense to last about five or more turns. If you don't your dead.

I heard that you can get a silver chocobo that can go underwater. Is that true?

The silver chocobo is a fake. It doesn't exist.
