I really wish one of the candidates had had the balls to say something about the fact that booing an active duty soldier regardless of their race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation is not okay. They would have gained some respect in my eyes. Unfortunately, they all know that that is exactly the way to get labeled a RINO by their party.

It's particularly silly to me that Santorum said that repealing DADT gives gay military members "special priveledge." I guess if you are gay, being treated as equal is a special priveledge.

I've read two stories about this Santorum fellow today, and both have given me the opinion that he is a total dick.

The first was this one.

The second was his demands to Google that they remove search results (Google "santorum" and the top result is about a "frothy mix"), and his anger at being denied, even going far enough to accuse them of being biased towards the Democrats because they wouldn't acquiesce to his request and instead told him to get in touch with the webmasters of the sites in question. A perfectly reasonable and correct response from Google, in my opinion.
