PS2 or Xbox I want your opinion
 

I'm on the PS2 side right now but I want to here your replys.

I dunno I like the xbox that I bought for my sister...it's got good graphics, decent games (LOTR)...DVD hook up, the controler was an issue around here for a while...but you get used to it...

here we go again.

ps2 if u want loads of games.

xbox if u dont have a pc (which is quite weird for someone using this forum :P).

if u want the most console for ur money get a gamecube. i think its more console than ps2 and xbox together (even tho i own a ps2)

I like the PS2 because I like the games that they are coming out with.

With PS2 you can play ps2 and psx games. It has a good game base already so you can buy games that you'll like now.
Xbox is newer and the games are good. However, the games will get better. It's a new system. The games always get better.
I got a gamecube recently. I like Nintendo and it was $50 cheaper.
Seems to be your choice.

Can you reserve an item that is still in concept stage? They are trying to put together a chip for it. They don't even know what the console will look like.

I'd go with Xbox if you have cable, but I recently got a PS2 and beat the 3 games I got which was a lot of fun (Kingdom Hearts, FF10, Medal of Honor Frontline).

I dont actually want a ps3.....or a ps2....or a ps....or a gamecube or xbox or dreamcast or atari or whatever you have

X-BOX is out of the running.

The only reason that I would agree that Xbox may already be out of the running is because many believe that an American console will never sell in Japan. But I'm still buying an Xbox. With the Christmas bundle package (uh... see my Xbox bundle post) and tons of exclusive games developed by Sega, and Rare including Perfect Dark, Panzer Dragoon, Toe Jam and Earl and many more. As far as Sony's competition, well it doesn't have any. But there are some good exclusives coming out for Xbox from now to the end of the year.

I had an xbox and I traded it to vicious for his ps2 so me and my bro could both play online with ps2 together, but Xbox wasn't too bad just a bit slow on developing good games but I am sure I am gonna pick up another one, jus gotta save up the money :(

ps2 pwnz all. I only have 2 games for it, and its still fun to play. I just mainly play my good ole' ps1 games on it, heh.
