dont worry about it. The world isnt gonna last 50000 years anyways. there will be a new strand of the black plague, or total war, or a meteor or something. But hopefully it wont happen in our lifetime. :grin:

50,000 years from now most history should be intact unless some sort of global apocalypes occurs.

how? 50,000 years later everything will be high tech beyond our imagination. the reason why things are presvered from a thousand or 2 thousand years ago are by books or things that are written down, therefore no matter how high-tech our society will advance we can still understand everything from that certain time period. the thing is that now we are having problems prevserving our current history. how are civilization 50,000 years later going to read a CD? how can our books perserve for 50,000 years?

Not possible, it shows when there is an increase of speed, your mass becomes heavier. Think of going lightspeed, it would take something like 4 million years to get to the first star anyways. At lightspeed, you would be a puddle on your seat. But you would have to go over 4 million times faster than lightspeed (if you want to be there in a year) which would disintigrate you. Then, getting that sort of thrust would be impossible, unless they found some sort of "wormhole" in the universe, close enough to fly to.

actually, Alpha Centuri (the nearest star besides the sun) is only 4 light years away, so if u went the speed of light you would reach it in 4 year, not 4 million:D
