Pretty cool, can't wait to see what the new UI looks like.

Holy crap, that's a lotta new shit.

They are completely implementing everything for WotLK. The barber shop is also open now ^_^. Just like they did before the BC was released they revamped the pvp system. Alot of major changes are being implemented today.

Time to get a haircut!

Next up: The Beauty salon! Gotta look good when you go up against Lord Kazzak!

I'm downloading the update right now... must be alot of changes - 1.2 Gigs!

Hm, I'm using the "Blizzard Downloader" and it's taking over an hour.

Blizzard downloader only took me about 20 minutes. Your computer sucks.

I can't wait to get on, it's going to be awesome...so much to do though..talents, skills, explore SW harbour on my abandoned mage...

But, what I am not looking forward to is how many mods are going to be broken and having to go back to the old UI.

I'm not sure about all the new updates... lots of changes. =/

His computer would have very little to do with his download speed. His internet or connectivity issues would likely be the cause if it taking a long time.

::Edit:: I'm at work attempting to download it now, it seems it's going to take even longer this time. I wonder if their is a lack of bandwidth from tons of people trying to download it at the same time?

::Edit x2:: Fuck fuck fuck fuck! I stopped the patch because it said it was going to take 3 - 4 hours! I then went to download the patch manually, and noticed that it was only 27mb as opposed to the 1.2 Gigs that the downloader was trying to download. Then when I tried to install the downloaded patch, it said it was already up to date. So I got back on to WoW to see if it would begin to download again, and it's all fucked up.

Grrr!

Lol, did you just fuck your WoW game? Open a ticket as soon as you can get on and I'm sure they will walk you through the uninstall / reinstall process.

Well, I'm downloading the patch via Bitcomet now. Yay for having to wait 2 hours...

Do you not have the background downloader working? Anytime you exit WoW it searches for upcomming patches and downloads them for you before you sign on, when you log in again it pauses then continues again when you exit. After it is done when it is patch time you wiz through it, seriously I had 1.2GB done in about 5 minutes.

Apparently I don't then, when I attempted to run it earlier, it said "Data for next patch is not available." so I'm not sure what the hell is up with that.

::EDIT:: FUCKIN SHIT! Now the bitcomet file just restarted for no FUCKING reason. Damn I'm getting so fuckin' pissed off.

And of course the Blizzard website isn't even updated with the latest patch download.

That would seem backwards, since the patch is distributed through a torrent. The more people downloading it, the faster it should be.

I didn't mean through bitcomet, I meant through the download that the game provides.

I've been patched for a while. Broken legion is down though. /Cry.

Loading screen wait times are nice and short at 10-15 minutes a pop for my server. I even got booted off once =D

Ahhh brings back memories of TBC release night.

I would advise waiting 1-2 days.. I find it extremely annoying when chat is being spammed 190238187490812352789045 times by people asking the same question over and over and over and over and over and over...

Anyway, Bleeding Hollow didn't go live until about 11pm est last night, and Dalaran still wasn't up by then. The sister wasn't happy.

I don't like the changes (to hunter). I feel completely lost and honestly havent any desire to figure out what is good / bad. I don't like when they implement such drastic changes and unspec all of us. My pet is even harder to spec. Oh, and for some reason my flying mount and epic ground mount disappeared on me today. They aren't in my mounts section (stupid idea). Im flusstered at the game right now, probably try again in a day or so.

Well, it is a huge update. I wouldn't be suprised if there's still some kinks to be ironed out.

You can leave the chats. No need to keep trade/general open if you're annoyed by them.

They'll be ironing out kinks forever. That's what Blizzard does. They create a bunch of problems so they can work on fixing them rather than working on actually good content.

Why else did it take them, what, three years to give us the ability to shift+click on mail in the mailbox to loot it? While I enjoy them adding stuff like this, it just reminds me even more that it took them forfreakingever to do it.

The only kink I have seen so far is mounts disappearing. Luckily I had some spare's in my bank so I am able to get around still. The other thing I have noticed was that I was in Zangarmarsh and I could see people /s in Ogrimmar. I could also see emotes from Zangarmarsh. I just don't know, I might be at a point in which it is better to just reroll a character and relearn everything on the way up.

I gotta find a new build for my lock.
