Class of 2007

It matters not whether you win or lose; what matters is whether I win or lose.

Yes, it's normal to get a little sad/reminiscent. But don't worry, if you're going to college, you're going to have a fucking blast. Just keep in touch with your friend via email and make sure you make plans ahead of time for when people are all typically home at the same time (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, etc.).

Congrats!

Thanatos 2007-06-08 07:33 AM

What he said. Keep in touch through myspace/facebook/e-mail while you all go your separate ways. You'll miss high school for probably 2-3 months then you don't care anymore. I've been out for 3 years and I don't miss it a bit. Especially when I'm around high school kids...

Sovereign 2007-06-08 08:32 AM

Haha. Grats. Off to college I assume?

KagomJack 2007-06-08 09:46 AM

You'll be fine, bro. Just keep in touch and it'll be good. I suck at talking on the phone, so usually I lose contact with people if that's the primary way we talk (unless we see each other on a day-to-day basis).

HandOfHeaven 2007-06-08 10:09 AM

Congrats, I also graduated, and also felt somewhat sad and reminiscent. But what kind of sucks is that I may not be able to hang out with my old buddies on breaks because I'm moving in a couple of weeks.

Sovereign 2007-06-08 01:07 PM

No more gunbound or arktanis (I think his name was)?

It's purely temporary. College is a lot more laid back and tolerable.

HandOfHeaven 2007-06-09 04:48 PM

Yeah they both passed. Going to some shitty community colleges.

gruesomeBODY 2007-06-09 08:49 PM

Congrats. I was more excited to leave High School because i knew college would rock. And i was right

Jessifer 2007-06-09 11:23 PM

I was glad when I graduated.

Unfortunately, I don't keep in contact with the 7 people I hung out with back then.

Willkillforfood 2007-06-10 01:34 PM

That's because I killed them all, Jess. Sry.

MightyJoe 2007-06-10 04:00 PM

Grats, if you really want to keep in contact with your old friends you'll be able too. If not you'll be able to meet new ones at college.

osmoses-jones 2007-06-10 05:24 PM

grats, you will love college, don't ever go to technical college like me is boring :(.

Sovereign 2007-06-10 07:04 PM

There's always AIM< so they aren't ever too far away.

Jessifer 2007-06-11 10:10 AM

Oh, the stories I have of Highschool immaturity...

Thanatos 2007-06-11 10:37 AM

Werd. Highschool kids piss me off.

Jessifer 2007-06-11 10:45 AM

Then again, in some aspects you can find parallels here as well.

Thanatos 2007-06-11 11:06 AM

Guess you just can't escape it, huh?

Jessifer 2007-06-11 11:36 AM

It's rather depressing.

-Spector- 2007-06-19 03:57 PM

Shinto! Haven't talked to you in awhile...

I also graduated, and felt the same way. Unfortunatley I can't leave for college because my probation doesn't allow me to leave the state.. So I have to live at home and go to a community college for a year..

I'm hoping after that i'll get to move away

HandOfHeaven 2007-06-19 10:24 PM

Probation for what?

-Spector- 2007-06-20 12:34 AM

Well it was origonally for posession of marijuana, but then I was charged with resisting/obstruction/assault of a police officer, disturbance of peace, and possesion of a deadly weapon (2 knives) which resulted in another charge of violation of probation... lol so now im off my marijuana probation and on my violence vs. police probation :(

Willkillforfood 2007-06-20 12:54 AM

You're going to fuck up your life if you don't chill out.

Titusfied 2007-06-20 06:19 AM

Too late. Good luck getting a job after college with that wrap sheet! Hahahahaaha! Don't you realize that any job interview/application will ask you if you've been arrested and what for? They can and WILL do a background check, and if you lie, you will not get the job, and if you tell the truth and there is ANYONE else going for the same job that is just as qualified or close to equally as qualified, that THEY will get the job by default.

GG, you will lose at life. Sorry to break the news to you. Unless of course, you want to work fast food or janitor bullshit the rest of your life. In that case, you're fine.

Thanatos 2007-06-20 08:55 AM

That's not entirely true. You don't know his whole situation. He could be getting some things off his record. Hopefully it's the knife posession/resisting charge lol. Spector, are you going to have a felony on your record once this is all over?

Titusfied 2007-06-20 09:14 AM

If he does, he's Federally Fucked. I hope not, for his sake.

slaynish 2007-06-20 11:37 AM

That's a pretty cruel thing to say, man..

People make mistakes, people fuck up. Spector, im assuming they charged you as an adult?

My brother had a DWI when he was 17 and almost turning 18 and now it's off of his record.

kyeruu 2007-06-20 11:39 AM

actually my cousin works as a floor cleaner in the air port.
He gets paid 18$ the hour for cleaning the floors for 1 hour only, then he does bullshit the entire 7 to go, thats a nice job if you ask me.
You should go get it.

Willkillforfood 2007-06-20 11:54 AM

A hispanic dude doing janitorial work? No wai! =P

Haha, sorry ...just had to say it.

Titusfied 2007-06-20 12:08 PM

$18/hour is chicken feed.

kyeruu 2007-06-20 12:10 PM

yeah but the point that he's only working 1 hour is cool
i mean i'm getting payed over 100$ for standing around all day!

Not to 90% of the population of the U.S. =P.

-Spector- 2007-06-20 06:09 PM

Well, I got a plea agreement, and the charges are now as followed:

Attempted Resisting arrest
Disturbance of the peace
And Violation of probation... which is 3 misdemeanors, and since I violated my marijuana probation, that is now being put on my record and is also a misdemeanor, and yes slaynish, unfortunatley im almost 19, so im legally an adult >.<

Jessifer 2007-06-21 08:51 AM

$8 an hour is chicken feed. Which is exactly what I make.

slaynish 2007-06-21 06:23 PM

lolz im 15 and i make 7.80.. (i got a new job ill post about it later... when im not so lazy. theres a lot to type about it)
