Personality Test

This is the short self-test version of an actual personality test.

I'm curious what "types" you guys will be. Go for it.

Life as an ISTP
(Introvert, Sensor, Thinker, Perceiver)

People of this type tend to be: logical, pragmatic, and matter of fact; quiet, unassuming, and autonomous; realistic, pragmatic, and aloof; impulsive and curious about the physical world; flexible and resourceful; objective and unemotional.

The most important thing to ISTPs is the freedom to act independently and follow their impulses.

WetWired 2007-04-27 03:31 PM

I am ISTP
heh:

Life as an ENTJ
(Extravert, Intuitive, Thinker, Judger)

People of this type tend to be: friendly, strong willed, and outspoken; honest, logical and demanding of selves and others; driven to demonstrate competence; creative with a global perspective; decisive, organized, and efficient.

The most important thing to ENTJs is demonstrating their competence and making important things happen.

Life as an INTP
(Introvert, Intuitive, Thinker, Perceiver)

People of this type tend to be: quiet, independent, and private; logical and unemotional; creative, ingenious, and innovative, global thinkers; curious and driven to increase their competence; casual, and adaptive; nonconforming and unpredictable.

The most important thing to INTPs is their privacy and the opportunity to solve complex problems in unique ways.

Here are just a few popular and often satisfying careers for people whose Personality Type is INTP.

Computer software designer/developer

Exactly what I'm going for, heh.

Edit again: That's the best personality test I've ever taken, pegged me so perfectly, it's frightening...

Lenny 2007-04-27 04:40 PM

Another one with ENTJ here.

Demosthenes 2007-04-27 05:20 PM

I actually had to take one of the big ones for class at the beginning of the semester. I'm INTP.

Grav 2007-04-27 05:22 PM

Most of us are thinkers. Not surprising.

Being overly emotional and a net addict restricts you to Myspace, gaming forums are not for you.

We could have INTP shirts, hats, mugs, and private forums where we mock the lesser personalities.

Heh. You get the shirts, hats and mugs, I'll start working on mocking the lesser personalities! ;)

Vollstrecker 2007-04-27 06:15 PM

Deal.

Preemptively circumventing the 10 character minimum.

WetWired 2007-04-27 06:21 PM

Actually, I was pretty close to choosing feeler. I vary alot on that scale from day to day...

The only conflict on that test for me was Sensor vs. Intuitive, I take a LOT from both sides.

Intuitive barely won out.

Really, everything for me was a pretty easy choice.

People of this type tend to be: friendly, charming, and outgoing; quick-witted, energetic, and irreverent; ingenious, imaginative, and creative; curious, flexible, and unpredictable; logical and analytical.

Willkillforfood 2007-04-29 11:43 AM

These personality tests do not mean shit x_x.

Grav 2007-04-29 12:49 PM

Congratulations on that insight. No wonder you picked Intuitive.

Never said they did mean anything. They are just for fun.

slaynish 2007-04-29 02:08 PM

I dont really like these tests because many peoples views or opinons change drastically throughout years. A lot of things influence what people think, as you might know.

!King_Amazon! 2007-04-29 04:31 PM

Who said someone's personality is supposed to stay constant throughout their lifetime?

It isn't measuring your lifetime personality, just your current one.

slaynish 2007-04-29 05:54 PM

Yeah i know what you mean.

I just honestly wanted a reason to post something because i really want to have 100% activity lol so i found the best excuse.

Believe it or not, that's the same reason I replied to what you said. Dead serious.

Below are four questions, and descriptions of two different lists of personality "preferences." Both lists have their own strengths and blindspots. BOTH are equally valuable -- NEITHER one is better or worse than the other.

They forgot to add "unless you're INTP. INTP is better than all."

The test lied. Just ask anyone in our club.

klo 2007-05-02 08:15 AM

wait, so who's all in this "club"?

Jessifer 2007-05-02 02:40 PM

Life as an ENFP
(Extravert, Intuitive, Feeler, Perceiver)

People of this type tend to be: enthusiastic, talkative, and outgoing; clever, curious, and playful; deeply caring, sensitive, and gentle; highly innovative, creative, optimistic, and unique; adaptable and resourceful but sometimes disorganized.

The most important thing to ENFPs is freedom to see possibilities, make connections, and be with a variety of people.

Jessifer 2007-05-02 02:41 PM

I am not in the "club".

klo 2007-05-02 03:00 PM

Me either, maybe we should make a cooler better one

Jessifer 2007-05-02 03:09 PM

Wouldn't work. You're ENTJ, I'm ENFP. Unless we made a club completely unrelated to this thread. Say...the Vagoo Brigade or something of the sort.

kyeruu 2007-05-02 03:09 PM

Life as an ESFP
(Extravert, Sensor, Feeler, Perceiver)

People of this type tend to be: warm, gregarious, and playful; impulsive, curious, and talkative; sensitive, caring, and gentle; social and unpredictable with a great zeal for life; active, responsive, and highly aware of the physical world.

The most important thing to ESFPs is freedom to be spontaneous, have fun, and enjoy the company of others.

omgawd more proof that i'm weird.

Nope. In fact, I challenge your club to an 80's dancing gang fight to prove our superiority.
