Can anyone else see Snow's fucked up display?

I can...

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h34/Atnasx/Wierd.png

I remember seeing WW in there a few days ago, most likely to approve of his messages. (why do I assume it's on purpose...)

It is most likely a glitch that didn't resize his avatar, or something weird is up with his sig.

Dar_Win 2007-04-10 02:37 PM

He was setting a new av layout for the top poster.

Atnas 2007-04-10 02:55 PM

Didn't expect that.

Lenny 2007-04-10 02:55 PM

Most active user (possibly users as it might be everyone with 100%, rather than just #1) - top poster would be Sov, I think.

Atnas 2007-04-10 02:57 PM

Lenny... You're all big!

WW, if you're listening... Try an anti-aliased circle.

Lenny 2007-04-10 02:59 PM

I'm bigger than you expect... avatar wise, obviously.

I wonder if the colour of the circle changes in relation to longevity.

It does.

For me, it's going to show up as a big ass red circle that looks obnoxious.

Lenny 2007-04-10 03:04 PM

You're going to have to wait some time, though - you didn't post on the 6th, so it should pop up for you onnnnnnn 4th May.

Dar_Win 2007-04-10 03:05 PM

How long for me? To lazy to look.

How do you know this?

Dar_Win 2007-04-10 03:07 PM

Look at your posts.

Look at the last time you didn't have 5 posts in one day. It's 30 days from that date.

Oh, and the WRT and the THRILLER forum don't count as posts.

Lenny 2007-04-10 03:08 PM

I got bored so I had a look at your posts. :p You missed 4 posts on the 6th, and so 28 days (including the 7th) takes you up to the 4th May... though it might pop up on the 5th May.

---

5 and 30? I thought it was 4 and 28?

So you're telling me lenny went back through my posts for the last month to see what days I didn't post 4 times and then calculated how many days it would be until that didn't matter anymore in the 2 minutes between his post and my post?

EDIT: Nevermind, I guess lenny looked at it at some other point in time, which would make more sense.

It is 4 and 28.

Dar_Win 2007-04-10 03:11 PM

Yeah, it's 4 and 28. I'm to tired to remember this stuff.

Lenny 2007-04-10 03:11 PM

It was this evening, actually. :p I clicked the handy "Search" button at the bottom of one of your posts, and went backwards through the days counting how many posts you had. When I found a break, I looked at my calendar and counted 28 days from the next day.

!King_Amazon! 2007-04-10 03:12 PM

It might be worth it to note that simply getting to 100% might not be sufficient enough to get you the new layout. Perhaps there is more to it than that.

If activity keeps up like it has been lately, there probably wont be anymore breaks. These days I don't have much trouble finding 4 threads to reply to. These days I can get 4 replies in a single thread fairly easily.

Lenny 2007-04-10 03:14 PM

You find that it's exceptionally hard every now and then - I've ended up searching threads that haven't been replied to for a couple of days, just to get in a 4th post. :p

Though at times like these it's easy to get 20 posts in, let alone just 4.

What else, though? The only difference between you and I is post count, longevity and activity, so you should have no trouble. Are you thinking about things such as Member Status?

!King_Amazon! 2007-04-10 03:15 PM

We've both gotten 6 posts in this thread alone today.

RoboticSilence 2007-04-10 03:16 PM

It's cool and "compact" but a little busy, huh?

WetWired 2007-04-10 03:17 PM

You might want to redo your avatar. I stretched it for you, but if you reworked it from the source, it'd probably look better.

!King_Amazon! 2007-04-10 03:17 PM

I think the main bonus is the larger avatar, but everything had to stay in the same sized box I believe.

Lenny 2007-04-10 03:17 PM

Six, eh? Well in that case, I've got my four, I'm off!

It's interesting to note how little your "Posts Per Day" thing on your profile goes up, even if you end up posting 20 a day for a week or so.

---

I don't think I need to, to be honest WW. Though for future reference, what's the new size for this thing? I'd guess at something like 200 x 200, possibly even 250 x 250 simply because it looks bigger than two normal avatars.

!King_Amazon! 2007-04-10 03:19 PM

Since it's based off of your entire history at Zelaron, and not just a week or so, it makes perfect sense.

WetWired 2007-04-10 03:20 PM

How do you figure it's busy? It has fewer elements than the normal one. Also, it's exactly the same size as the normal one. What's great is that the layout is actually a shit-ton simpler, too.

WetWired 2007-04-10 03:22 PM

150x150, like it says in your user CP.

Lenny 2007-04-10 03:23 PM

I checked just after I asked. :p

Thanks, though.

!King_Amazon! 2007-04-10 03:25 PM

Nice new avatar.

I guess the only thing I'm hinging that on is what animated gifs will look like, if the images are weirdly parsed (should we have to redesign avatars for circular design?)... well really just the placement of the username inside the image. *Does it contrast automatically to colors present in the Avatar or is it possible to have it come up indistinguishable from the background?*

*EDIT: Nevermind, I notice the "grey box".

Lenny 2007-04-10 03:26 PM

Thanks. :)

Just one of many different hats that the emu likes to wear.

MightyJoe 2007-04-10 05:49 PM

Grats on putting up Sov like activity.

Grav 2007-04-10 07:37 PM

OmgBIG!

Lenny 2007-04-11 08:16 AM

You don't know the half of it.

---

Thanks, Joe. :)

That's the second sexually related joke you've made about your new avatar.

Lenny 2007-04-11 08:19 AM

First intentional one, though, I think.

T'other would be "Just one of many different hats that the emu likes to wear.", aye?

I didn't even notice that one, this is the other one I was talking about.

Lenny 2007-04-11 08:26 AM

Haha, I forgot about that one. :p

Whatever happened to the young Lenny who joined two and a half years ago not knowing anything?

MightyJoe 2007-04-11 10:25 AM

Well, my only question is what if I don't have an Avatar? "start"

!King_Amazon! 2007-04-11 10:26 AM

You get a bigger blank area.

WetWired 2007-04-11 10:27 AM

You are not at 100% activity. If you don't have an avatar, you don't have an avatar, you'll still have the new postbit, and the ability to upload a bigger avatar.
