Anyone a MUGEN user?
 

Just curious since I've been idling around with it for the past month or so.

I had it at one point and really got into it. Unfortunately, I lost it and can't seem to find it anywhere on the web.

Just go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MUGEN and they have a page to download WinMUGEN.

How old school looking.... and just as boring.

Half the fun is customization and creating your own characters.

If I sprited your favorite anime characters, would you like it then? :)

At one point I was making a soley FF roster. Never got really far, but maybe I'll do Cloud and Squall sprites sometime.

The main intrigue is just seeing who wins. I watched a battle between Zero and pikachu on youtube, for example.

So Kagom, did you ever get into it all that much? It would be fun to make a zelaron M.U.G.E.N. Roster, what with MJ's black jesus powers and all.

I'm pretty into it. Got about 60 something characters from mainly Street Fighter, the Vs. series, and Neo Geo games. I just like idly playing around.

I'd probably have a gay version of Dmitri's Hyper Move (I can't remember its name, but he morphs the other player into a female [if they're male] and drains the life out of them).

... It's in Spanish.

Well, as soon as I'm done spriting for an FMA fangame, I'll start making characters.

What sprites ya gonna base 'em off of? Neo Geo, Capcom, etc.?

I was thinking the style used in SNK VS CAPCOM.

Eh, I prefer the CvS style more. SvC makes everyone look like deformed giants.

A lot of the Portugese and Spanish MUGEN sites suck.

Or browse some of the MUGEN sites like Random-Select or Streetmugen.com and look at the sprites from CvS and then the ones from SvC. You'll see.

Oh, lol, I see what you mean. The girls are a little hotter in chaos, but the guys all look better in millenium.

If you're putting together a Zel game, then there's no real point to using girls.

What will everyone's special abilities be?

Grav will probably be able to Gravitize the playing feild and make everyone lie down and can't move.

MJ could probably cast Black Jesus Magic... :rolleyes:

I'll post a thread when I get everything in order and you can outline your moves, attacks movement patterns etc.

I'm totally going to give you Gill from SF3 for Mjordan. All you need to do is make him black and then when he uses Seraphic Wing, it'll look that much more kick-ass. :D
