dude where u at? Im in michigan and we were having some kick ass storms today and there were tornado warnings everywhere and i just sat and watched the sky get dark and bright over and over again...it was the shit...and the lightning and thunder was rockin the house it was pownzering around us

HandOfHeaven 2006-05-25 08:56 PM

I like when the sky gets green out here. I just grab a beer and sit on my roof waiting for it to come. Then when the golfball hail comes I climb into my room.

1dumMan 2006-05-25 08:57 PM

do u drink beer and fuck fat chicks??

HandOfHeaven 2006-05-25 08:59 PM

No, I drink beer and haven't fucked anything yet. I love hanging out with the hot females though, they drink the beers with me.

1dumMan 2006-05-25 09:00 PM

lol yay for chicks that drink beer with you, that roxors, but seriously fuck one of them...then the storm and the beer would really kick some ass hehe

HandOfHeaven 2006-05-25 09:34 PM

Well, I don't really have it in me to take advantage of one of my friends while they are drunk.

Sovereign 2006-05-25 10:03 PM

I love falling asleep in severe thunder storms. For some reason it relaxes me.

MightyJoe 2006-05-25 10:15 PM

Pussy j/k

Back on topic, storms are relaxing.

HandOfHeaven 2006-05-25 10:31 PM

Some storms are nice. It's hard for me to go to sleep when wind is pounding against my windows though.

gruesomeBODY 2006-05-25 11:28 PM

i know what sov means about relaxing. But tornado warnings, thats a whole other story.

KagomJack 2006-05-25 11:57 PM

I like storms when I DON'T FUCKING HAVE TO DRIVE IN THEM (like I did tonight and nearly died. yay)

Willkillforfood 2006-05-26 03:27 AM

1/2 mile wind tornado last November was a little scarier than your run-of-the-mill t-storm.

HandOfHeaven 2006-05-26 07:26 AM

Yeah, cuz that's scary fuckin' shit.

MightyJoe 2006-05-26 12:42 PM

I don't think that we've had a tornado where I live for a very long time, maybe 12 years ago or such. A few warning every now and then, just mainly thunderstorms.

1dumMan 2006-05-26 06:19 PM

we were under sever tstomr warnings and tornado warnings all night last night until like 10pm or so it was cool

gruesomeBODY 2006-05-26 08:15 PM

If i ever saw a real tornado, i would not only soil myself, but i would cry like a little school girl

Sovereign 2006-05-26 09:51 PM

As long as it wasn't within a few miles of me I wouldn't mind.

Lenny 2006-05-27 03:26 AM

I'd like to see a Tornado... and possibly a hurricane.

We're not blessed enough to get them over here that often. And when they do appear, they usually hit Birmingham, and I'm not in Birmingham.

Sovereign 2006-05-27 06:09 PM

I might get to see one tonight!

The clouds are looking really bad. I hope we at least get a good severe tstorm out of it.

crazyeye 2006-05-27 07:42 PM

storms always put me asleep I just love the song of thunder. Im not sure is going to sleep in the middle of a really bad storm is a good thing though but what the hell at least I get a good nights rest even if i dont get up EVER!

Willkillforfood 2006-05-27 07:50 PM

the UK gets more tornadoes per square mile than any other place in the world. It's because there's tons of areas in the U.S. that barely ever get twisters ...if you averaged just the midwest the UK would be beat 3 times over probably, but yea. You guys should have a few :).

My parents are going to buy a storm shelter after this last near miss last November. The chances of it being that close again are low but yea ...just to be safe :D.

HandOfHeaven 2006-05-27 08:21 PM

I used to live in central Colorado, near Pikes Peak. Tornadoes were unheard of when you were within an hour's drive to the mountains. But up here, there was one about a mile from my house last summer.

Lenny 2006-05-28 05:07 AM

D'you get a lot of Thunderstorms up there then? If not, then you probably get a lot of rain.

It's also because we're so tiny --> approx. 245,000km2 - a bit smaller than Wyoming.

Dar_Win 2006-05-28 10:08 AM

Chuck Norris starts an F5 tornado when he exhales.

HandOfHeaven 2006-05-28 11:28 AM

Yeah, we get a lot of severe thunderstorms here in southern Minnesota.

Blessed?! i'd like to see how "blessed" you think you are when you get sucked up in one. you must be nuts..... and no i already realized this a looong time ago...

Lenny 2006-06-05 04:25 AM

I'd still like to see one. :p It must be a pretty spectacular site - seeing a Tornado or a Hurricane bearing down on some tiny little village. Even more so to see a strong city being ripped to shreads by wind.

sciencekid 2006-06-07 05:23 PM

ok fine, fair enough you'd like to see one.. not be in one.. ok then

Lenny 2006-06-08 02:12 PM

You never know. If I'm safe below ground... it'd definitely be one hell of an experience.

Sovereign 2006-06-08 03:00 PM

Yeah an underground bunker with a 2 foot thick Lexan roof so you can see it all.

O_O charge people 10,000 each.

Lenny 2006-06-08 03:08 PM

That's actually a pretty good idea... but you'd need somewhere where there are a LOT of Tornadoes and/or hurricanes. If those only the odd one or two, you ain't getting any money.

Talking about Storms - The Great Red Spot on Jupiter has got a smaller sibling... and they're on a crash course in a bit - first of all it's a chance to see how the Great Red Spot formed, and second of all, the fireworks! Well not literally, but, yeah.

goto page 11 and look at the bottom right hand. Tons of pictures on there of all the damage.

Look at page 13 too. The tornado takes up like the whole horizon, lol.
