Restructuring
 

We have restructured the staff and forums for better efficiency. As of today, there are no staff positions below Supreme Moderator, and we have increased the number of Supreme Moderator slots to 4. Please congratulate Sov, Bob, SYG, and Grav on their positions.

At the same time, I've done some pruning to the list of forums to hopefully help shrug off that dead forum feel. I'm also working on getting icons for the forums that need them.

As a side note, I finally got the new server all set up and tested early this morning, so we're on track for Friday delivery to the datacenter and Sunday/Monday site transfer.

This is one of the many reasons that I appreciate you. This forum has done its best to mold me into my teenage years, and theres nothing you can say about it, zelaron has been an afterschool hobby for almost 3 years now!(you know what i mean..) I've learned and grown from this website, and who do I have to thank but the ones that kept it running all these years.

But I do thank chruser just as much, theres just not much activity on his side around this time of the Zelaron History, so we never know where hes at.

His activity was shot, he was down to like 15% or 20%, though he says he was gone for the summer or something.

Which is understandable, correct? Or is there some clause in which you are demoted for going on vacation?

I'm waiting for a "fanatic" to bust out with a page number, paragraph number, and a clause from some old old thread that had Zelaron Articles of Confederation or something.

I like the new look of Zelaron, the layout looks much more organized and not as big of a clusterfuck.

If he announced it to the other mods in one of the mod-only forums it would be, but since I can't view them, I can't say whether he did or not.

I did annouce it in the Mod only forums. It should be still there, maybe 4 down from the top...

From the response I got from the staff, it was stated that I was de-supmodded because of activity.

I dunno then, I think it's pretty stupid anyway, since you're back now there should be no problem.

Nah, that was the final straw. I was deliberating over it for like 2 months prior to that, because I was simply bored. Then that happened, and I realized that Zelaron just wasn't worth it, so I resigned.

Then you went inactive, and sooner or later I came back into activity, made the Dragoon Elite clan, made you a mod there and now your active :D

We actually offerred Raziel a position, but when we still hadn't recieved a response after several days, I looked at his visit log and decided that we needed someone that visited on a more regular pattern, so our alternate got the position.

I asked for Sup Mod back but got shot down quickly..

Hahaha, oh well. And that sucks about Raziel. I thought I read that he wasn't doing that hotel job anymore, so his internet capabilities went to crap. Not sure if that is temporary, or what, but I doubt he would have accepted the job anyway. Back when I gave RoboticSilence the Sup Mod position, it was only because Raziel declined, so he was the alternate. Of course, directly afterwards, his computer got fried, and he never recovered. Worst mistake in Zelaron Staff history?
