Realm Queues back?
 

I'm tryign to get onto illidan and it says realm full... anyone getting the same thing?

Been like that a couple days. Been pretty laggy too.

they have been there for quite awhile now, always around 7-11 central time, i thought you played on burning legion?

I thought this entire time he was on your server. I don't usually stalk him to find out where he's going.

Actually, it's been stated by himself at least once and I've posted several times he should join us again.

But it's okay, I don't always read Sov's posts either. :P

I havn't encountered any abnormal lag issues, though I have waited in the queue a few times.

I thought that was supposed to be fix on illidan, whatever I am happy with BL no problems at all.

Lvl 26 alliance Dwarf Rouge named THorick. CUrrently questing in darkshire.

The queue on Illidan dissappeared untill after Christmas, when apparently a flood of new people started playing WoW and thought Illidan better than other servers, so they all started playing there... in hindsight, I wish Blizzard had dramatically cut the max player load after Christmas (say to 2000 users instead of 3000) to scare away newbies from servers already close to capacity.

The longest queue I've seen since Christmas is about 200, so that indicates that the server is at 115% demand and at least a 20% increase in (potential) users at peak times.

Personally, I think that if there is a queue, that you should be auto kicked when you go AFK. From what I've seen, this would eliminate the queue, or make it very very short. And as long as you can get right back on (because you being kicked killed the queue), who really cares if you got kicked because you weren't playing?

Ehh I am not sure on that, I mean I usally go afk on long flights. So I that would suck if I got kicked off just because I was flying to a different location.

Well obviously, there would need to be a provision for that, even if it's simply that you make flight progress while logged out.

Logging off/disc while flying = resume where you left off while still in flight

Yes, like I said, if they auto kick you on AFK, that would need to change, but I'm sure everyone by now is quite aware of that fact.

We must meet someplace neutral and defy Blizzard's foolish ideas of non-communication and non-trade between factions :p

Actually, when you go AFK on all servers, after about 5 mins of AFK status, you DO get booted.

Happens to me all the time on Burning Legion when Abby's like "OMG, this has to be done NOW" and I go do something.

I'll have to make me an anti-idle script.


Also, as far as interfaction communication, I hear there's a language hack out that lets you understand all languages, but not speak them.

You get booted to the login screen, and it's after 30 minutes. It does nothing to aleviate the queue anyway.

After a bit longer, you get booted from the login screen as well. I've had it happen.

But that's because of connection faltering, and not the fault of the game/server

You'd think that if you pay 15 dollars a month, you'd have 0 lag.
