Have any of you gone to your local arcade and whatnot, just to see that the ddr machine has like 20 credits in it, and they keep on pumping it in for more? I fucking HATE machine hoggers, not only for ddr for anything else?!

What other games have you guys played that this has happened too.

There are bleachers next to the DDR machine at the arcade in our mall.

yeah, theres only 1 ddr machine on my arcade place.....sux coz them asians hog the shit like there was no tomorrow....those kids spend about $100 on one day just playing that

Maybe they should stop pissing away their money and make their own pad.

They could buy the game for ps2 and get the dancind pad....it'll be like $70 altogether.

Those pads rip, VERY easily. Youd be getting a new one monthly

yah unless you dont play the too hard ones, if u like play heavy or maniac then they will rip easily but not too many people play at our arcade, cost like a dollar too..... :eek:

DDR is great fun and good exercise. What can you say... that it's 'gay' ... It's not like your in a boy band doing corieographed dance spins and splits it's a game.

Yeah most of the DDRfanatics that don't play at home hog the machine.

Actually, any ddr fanatic should know the unwritten code of machine sharing. Anyone who doesn't is a ddr nub.

I can really make you suffer in X-Men vs. Street Fighter, but I put up with the machine hoggers...but making them cry was only the easy part :D

I've had my plasic pad since January, and it still works fine. It glitches a little after a few songs, so you have to pick it up, plus that fast series of identical arrows (left-left-left-left or whatnot) is almost impossible to pull off due to lowered sensitivity.

Well worth the few coins I spent though. I guess the ripping part depends on your weight. My BMI is like 16, so clearly, the longevity should be increased.

Yeah, but it's funny. Were just sitting there playing, and some assholes come up and start laughing. THey mouth off "Hey this looks so easy. You people suck" or some shit. Well someone offers to pay for a game for them to play on, so they can show how 'easy' it was. They got mauled in the first song, and just shut up about it afterwards.

DDR is fun.

I went down to vegas a week ago or so and I finally saw this DDR... I put my $1 in it and tried...of course I SUCKED at it and stuff... so I go back up to my hotel room and like an hour later or something I go back to the arcade to see these 8 year old girls playing it...they didn't miss a beat at all and such.
They played it like 3 hours (maybe longer I was only in the arcade for 3 hours) non stop everyone was just watching them, no one said anything just watched ...

Once you get a handle of it, it's great great fun. Very addicting.
