Long distance relationship anyone?
Topic, I am not talking about like 1 or 2 hour drive, more like flight or long hours of drive.
I have a long penis, and a very good relationship with it. We have congigal (sp) visitis at least once a day.
It's conjugal, I believe. I think they CAN work, but in most cases will fail miserably due to one person getting drunk as hell and porking random people.
It matters not whether you win or lose; what matters is whether I win or lose.
Still, lust will probably end up getting the best of them in the end. Sex is becoming too big of a part of relationships anymore. If there isn't any, they usually don't last too long. I can think of a couple exceptions though.

Well, that's what i througth too at first about sex, but then you really die down on it, I mean you don't think of it with other people rather than with the one you like/love.
Yes, but love is also a word that has been thrown around so much it's almost lost it's meaning. I mean, my friends little brothers/sister that are in like 5th grade say they "love" their "boyfriend/girlfriends". It's ridiculous.

Long-distance relationships are a nightmare. They're only worth it if you're older and are seriously committed to the relationship. If you're a teenager, don't bog yourself down with that crap. It'll only end up hurting you, and you have so little reason to subject yourself to that kind of torment. You're young, have fun. Don't worry about tying yourself up over the girl because you have your whole life ahead of you. You can look forward to complicated bullshit like that when you hit your 20's. Take advantage of your youth and have fun with it.
I manage to "have fun with my youth" and hold a very serious relationship with my girlfriend. If these two forces ever met though, my brain would explode.
Then you're fortunate. My point was that there's no reason to put yourself through misery because of a relationship when you're 17. You've got an entire lifetime ahead of you which will no doubt be riddled with crippling, relationship-based depression and self-inflicted misery! Why go through that when you're a teen? Save that for later, have fun now.
I actually think I'll get married to my current girlfriend and I know for a fact that she feels the same way. Yep, we're in love. :D
I guess it depends on what KIND of relationship you're into. A real one is likely going to hurt you eventually if you really believe in it, since the chances of having your partner cheat on you are protruding. On the other hand, a platonic relationship may work very well. It depends entirely on the person.
I know this girl who has had a boyfriend for 8 months or so, and he's moving to England (from the US), and he wants to marry her before then. I just don't think he seems like a very faithful person in the first place, and that marriage would just be a way for him to increase his chances of keeping her. Of course, if you normally keep the connection online to save expensive phone bills, other factors may come into play too, but that's too much to ramble about here anyway. |
You aren't talking about my situation directly, are you? I hope you're just generalizing.
I wasn't talking to you, I was responding to the long distance relationship topic. And no, about the marriage, I wasn't referring to you. Marriage if both peolple love each other and want to stay together for life (which actually happens in some cases, although not most), but the guy I was talking about seems to want to hurry marriage just to be SURE to keep her before he goes away to England, and she doesn't seem to want to do that at all. And he apparently has a previous experience of cheating on his girlfriends, too.
Long distance, depends. Did you meet this person ... on the internet? or something lame of that matter. Or did you meet them on a trip, cruise, etc? Either one of those aren't very serious, and probably wouldn't work out.
But lets say you've got a love for a while, and they have to move to a different state(for example). And you are quite serious, go ahead and pursue it, you may end up paying some money into it, but if you are even having second thoughts over and Ex, then don't bother. Most long-distance relationships don't work, I'd recommend not bothering with it, just let it go. |
Long distance?
One word: no |
You just summed up my whole story, gj.
If you can't go see the other person semi-regularly, and you haven't had a strong relationship before the separation, it won't work out.
I've actually got a lot more input on this subject, but... I'm not sure what the answer to the question is right now. I'll get back at ya with it tonight. *eerie music from Earthbound plays* |
That eerie music is the shit! EB, best game soundtrack ever!
Sorry for the off-topic, but I have to comment on that since I'm such the SNES RPG music expert.
I always put FF6 at the top of the list. Chrono Trigger is 2nd. Earthbound comes in 3rd because some of the tracks are un-listenable unless you're actually playing the game. I'm, of course, making a reference to all the tracks that sound like static. They're good in-game, but out... they just don't fit otherwise. |
Nice, thx for the input. Stop talk about music!!!
You both just got served.
Hmm, long distance relationships aren't that fun. I've been in one, I live in Philly, she in Utah (Fucking Mormons). It worked for a few months, but the expenses got too much, then I lost my license and all went to shit. They can work, but they take a lot of time and patience.
..You drove to Utah from Philly?
That's absurd!
I rode my tricycle. |
I guess i can tricycle to Japan -_-!
No, they cannot work. Well, I should say do not work 95% of the time... I've been in a couple long distance relationships, where I could only see the other person once or twice a month for a day or two, and none worked. My girl right now lives about 50 minutes away and it's okay though, so I dont know. We've been together a while, before it was long distance she lived down the block from me. I try to see her at least once a week.
Long distance relationships never work out at the end...trust me. Its not the same if you cannot hug kiss etc the other person. dont waste your time
After seening all these failing example, ok fine, I guess I will break up with her... wait I already broke up with her!!! We never really broke up, she just left errr, now we did. I feel like shit now.
