I am a Magic n00b... ever see Chromium Dragon? it's a 7/7 my second best card..

I rarely played the game actually.. but I bought a box of some 2000 cards off this kid for 20 bucks and got about 200 rares out of it (worth over a dollar each), and there were some funky cards in there like a 10/10 monster O_o

I play VI, noob cards.
They don't have any overpowered stuff there, and it's meant to be for a fast-paced game. I have some godly cards though, iron star (pay 1 colorless to get 1 life whenever someone plays a red card) and johkalaups (sorcery, 4 colorless, 2 mountains, takes out all creatures and lands in the field). Combining johkalaups with blue dispel cards works just fine if you face a lot of opponents :)

:rolleyes: It's big furry monster, and that's an Unglued card, which means it's worthless unless you and your friends agree that it's okay to play with Unglued cards.

Bah, easy to find, rarely played. Needs adjustments to deck to work well

Requires an artifact heavy deck to work really well, which has a major weakness-shatterstorm. Also the average non-creature artifact is rarer than the average non-creature colored spell.

No, that's the disadvantage, however, here's a senario (a real one, BTW):

It's been at least 25 turns into the game. The game has been locked down by a Stasis deck, but the person got decked thanks to my Howling Mine There are four players left, me, a player with 13 life, a player with 46 life, and a player with 15 life. Everyone has plenty of land. I have a Mirari in play, and a Fireball and an Early Harvest in hand. Normally, I wouldn't have enough land to cast a fireball big enough to finish everyone off, but I was able to tap all my land, use 3 mana for the Early Harvest, use 3 to use Mirari's ability, after the last copy of Early harvest resolves, I tap all my land again, then let the first copy resolve and tap most of my land once more. Now I have a lot of mana (53, a mix of red and green), but not enough to finish everyone off. I cast a two-target fireball for 24 damage to each target (costing 48+1 colorless and 1 red), targeting my first oponent and my second, then use Mirari to make a copy targeting the second opponent and the third. 96 damage total. I win. Like I said, Mirari is a godly card. Fork is better in some ways, but since Mirari is a permenent, I'd take Mirari over Fork any day.

Oh, wow, a 5/5 creature from a different game that can only attack every 3 turns. :yawn: Note that my card (Gargantuan Gorilla) is from the same game and can destroy Chruser's card, even if it's not attacking or blocking. It just says "You, come over here so I can eat you"

And if you disagree that it's a 5/5, show me one card from Pokemon that can deal damage or has hit points that isn't a multiple of ten.

The problem is that most groups that play magic don't like it when people play with Unglued cards unless everyone is. Unglued cards are not tournament legal.
