Dragon Ball anime
 

Hate it or like it? I personally hate it, soley for the reason that the storyline doesnt entertain me. I dont like the type of cartoon that Dragon Ball is for some reason. Its too much like pokemon. Two people/pokemon fighing each other episode after episode.

Gasp! It's nothing like Pokemon! Dragonball has some adult humor in it. And I love it.

And so does my daddy. ^_^

Dragon ball sucks, but once you get into Z and Gt the story line seems to get a little better and the art is rather real although it doesnt look like it simply because you nor i have ever seen anyone as "ripped" as they are when they are like say in super sajin or how ever its spelt.

Pokemon has some adult humor in it.

I see the whole DB/Z/GT saga as merely a stepping stone into better anime. It's a good entry-level show.

I like dragon ball because (as jessifer said) it has some older comedy in it. Dbz has good action and a good story line. And DBGT sucks in general. All it was is an attempt to make some extra $$$ off of the DB fad.

Thank god the dragonball saga is over.

Some people. Oi. Anyway, the manga is a lot better than the anime. Because the anime cuts out a lot of things. Important things.

Example: The episode where Bulma and Gokou are trying to fish Oolong out of the water. Gokou tries to use worms, but Bulma corrects him and uses a pair of panties to fish him out. The americans turned the panties into money.

Bloody greedy americans. Bah.

If an anime is based off of a manga, it tends to lack both minor and major details. Usually due to censoring.

Dragonball is a prime example of this.

Anyway, before you judge Dragonball the anime so harshly, you should at least look at the Manga.

Yea really, if you watch a few episodes at the wrong time you may think it sucks, but if you watch alot and it builds out. You can't judge something by a few episodes, you have to let it build up, I live in Canada and we are just getting DBGT and i think the beginning when they go after the dragon balls is a lttle lame, but once they start to fight Bebi on earth it goes awsome right to the end. ( I watched most of the Japanese episodes with subtitles). DB is really childesh but when it hits part way through DBZ it gets better, a lot better. It also depends on wut u like.
