The best system of all time

Here we will vote for the Best system of all time. From Atari to PS2. Graphics don't count since there's such a gap in technology.

!King_Amazon! 2003-06-01 08:43 PM

SNES teh roxx0r.

quikspy67 2003-06-01 08:58 PM

GCN rules!

Senesia 2003-06-01 09:04 PM

SNES.

Xenn 2003-06-01 09:04 PM

SNES probably.

Genesis was also really good, but sega was always a step behind (32x, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, yuck :P)

Mr.Lee 2003-06-02 01:03 AM

SNES of course!

"CRØNîC-KîLLå" 2003-06-02 09:07 AM

GBA owns all, but it's not on your poll :(

If you discount graphics, then GBA obviously owns all other systems, because graphics is all it lacks.

Mr.Lee 2003-06-02 01:57 PM

Well the gameplay may not be the best...

Sum Yung Guy 2003-06-02 02:42 PM

seems im the first to vote for xbox

NonGayMan 2003-06-02 03:08 PM

PS1 and 2

Hades-Knight 2003-06-02 03:19 PM

PS1 and PS2 , you have to admit PS always took the cake, better games.

Jamesadin 2003-06-02 04:29 PM

The Nintendo 64.

Kuja`s #1 2003-06-02 06:31 PM

Thanks all. Geez I never expected SNES to do this well. I only played my friend's so maybe I missed out.

!King_Amazon! 2003-06-02 07:02 PM

I suggest you go find one in a pawn shop or download an emulator.

Kuja`s #1 2003-06-02 07:32 PM

Thanks. I'll do that.

quikspy67 2003-06-02 07:50 PM

Yeah i knew people didn't like GCN so I voted for it but SNES does pwn.

!King_Amazon! 2003-06-02 08:32 PM

http://www.games-mania.net

Good place for SNES roms/emulator.

Eddie_Perez 2003-06-02 08:36 PM

ps1/2, Tomb Raider (first game I got for psx) was leet!

Jamesadin 2003-06-03 08:22 AM

X-Box? That doesn't even compare to every system up there. SNES, N64, SegaGen, normal nintendo, playstation 1 and 2 are all better in my opinion. Xbox and Gamecube are so new, you cant really judge them.

Medieval Bob 2003-06-03 08:35 AM

GBA does have some good RPGs, however SNES consistently had awesome games for such a long time. It has the best RPGs of any system and many other great games.

Snes will forever pwn all.

Strider Fury 2003-06-03 04:26 PM

its also the only console out there cept for the PSs that features FF I think.

!King_Amazon! 2003-06-03 04:33 PM

NES had FF's too.

Soulmaster 2003-06-08 12:26 PM

I wanted to say Sega Saturn cause it had the best fighters, but NES was my second pick!

Kuja`s #1 2003-06-08 12:28 PM

Hey I sega any segas. So saturn, genesis, CD, whatever.

GameCube 2003-06-08 11:31 PM

they're a little over a year and a half old each, so you can judge them. but reguardless, SNES was the god of consoles.

quikspy67 2003-06-09 04:15 PM

Avanced SP is pretty sweet.

uncapped 2003-06-09 04:23 PM

Playstation, with SNES at a close second.

Kuja`s #1 2003-06-09 04:55 PM

SNES is starting to slip.

GameCube 2003-06-10 11:52 AM

GameCube #1 then DreamCast, then GBA SP, then SNES

Soulmaster 2003-06-11 09:54 AM

DC was great for its time, way better than ps1 imo.....I have GCN but there just aren't enough games for it =(

Gsus 2003-06-11 11:13 AM

NES, Then SNES.

Kuja`s #1 2003-06-13 03:58 PM

Come on! Someone vote for PS 1 and 2! Only one more vote...

Raziel 2003-06-14 04:06 AM

I can't vote any longer, but my vote would have gone to SNES. It had some of the greatest games ever created on it. Console gaming in general peaked with the Super Nintendo.
