Neuro Nodes
Here's another quick and dirty... Well, maybe not so dirty image:
http://hem.passagen.se/chruser99/NeuroNodes.txt Knowing your brain looks like this will really help you sleep better at night, won't it? :D |
teehee i like it... nice use of depth of field.. and i really like the little bits floating around :)
That is so nice, how long does it take you to make this small projects?
and another thing... i can't figure out how to make that kind of material in any other 3d package... looks good :)
I seen some crazy stuff like that, and when I read the Tut, it was easy... this looks more complex then the others tho.
try the blood cell tutorial it'll get you thinking :)
blood cell tut? from where?
err i can't find it right now... chruser probly knows ask him
Ok, I will search the Tuts I already have Bookmarked.
k cool it has a similair surface too :)
true, the thing that makes these pics looks so nice is also Lights, I need to learn more about them
The blood cell tutorial can be found here:

Thanks, I will read it up, good job Chruser
ya it tells you alot especailly the material :)
Yeah I was looking at one tut and there is so much to know, but that more options, the more uniqueness.
oooo!~
reminds me of magnified hair.... -____-;;;; but good job  |
reminds me more of nerves :D anyway i think the main purpose of tutorials to teach you how tools can be used in real projects and get you thinking in the way of the modeler thinks
I agree, I only concentrate on learning the tools used in the tut, not makeing the same thing as them... most of time my stuff looks a lot different than theirs.
i still think that the way of thinking is the most important thing to a modeler, start thinking like a modeler... start following natural contours of objects in your sleep :D
Now that you are talking about sleep lol, I am haveing dreams of modeling lol. Is that healthy?
sure it is... i've had dreams of it too... i really want to model myself some days now... but i'm too lazy... lol
lol, it started happening once I relized how modeling worked, I just model things in my head :)
yes do that... try to take every day life objects and splitting them up into primitive objects in your head, makes your life so much easier :)
The weird thing is, I never thought I was be able to do the things I do now. I still a long way to go, like Chruser showed me this Car and the background had trees. IT LOOKED REAL!! I am not jokeing, show them Chruser if you read this post :)
heh i saw that car... well those are not that hard to make... but a pain in the ass to render i have to admit... the trees and stuff are real good texture work tho :)
I was just impressed that it looked SOO real!

ya stupid bump effects with good settings :D
I tried messing with bump effect, but the size option is what gets me :P
Just use the VIPER. Get a nice camera angle, do a render and check the preview in the VIPER. It will auto-update each time you do certain changes, such as texture previews. It saves a lot of time.
Well the viper wont work for me, dont know why but it wont.
how to get viper working... release the video chruser! :)
Yes please do, all tuts I read are talking about the Viper. It is just it wont work for me.
ya i have no idea how to get it working either... i COULD just read my book but you know how lazy i am ;P
lol, I hate reading books, but I WILL read the one I am about to buy. I need to read more often, no matter how boring it is. Yeah but that viper worked once. I am trying to figure out what I did ;P
click on the button may be? :D
I have no clue, I messed with it again and it wont work. It has to be a setting outside the Viper Options.
ya maybe you have to set up ur scene a certain way =\
Maybe, I will figure it out if Chruser doesnt show me first.
damn chruser and his time zones :) he should move to my city like this other swedish lightwave guru... i'm actually planning to get together with that guy soon :D
