I heard that it's the only game rated better than Halo, Is it worth buying.

Fuck ya buy this game it kicks ass you can pick up cans and throw them to distract people drag bodys into the shadow a must have for any lover of stealth games

Does it have any replay value, like good multi,mini games or somthing or is it just the game.

no mini or multi but you can do a mission like 4 or 5 times and have COMPLETELY different paths it will take a long time to beat and thne you can play missions again and find a new way to compelte your objectives

No multi play, damn. I don't ususally buy games without it but I'll rent it because you said its so good and maybe I'll get it.

Yeah, so far, so good. There are tons of options and crazy techniques and maneouvers to execute. GReat game, don't know about replay though... :( That is why HALO is so much better IMO.

I still wonder is it the hyped MGS killer? or something completly different?

its all stealth stuff, like if you go up against 2 guys you ARE going to die, or so they say. its similar to MGS but no running in blastin people.

I heard you could decide if you are going too choose stealth or just blast your way through everything?

you can but good luck it is 500x harder if you run in and blast shit

sorta less shooting more stratgy acutal control over lock picking not auto. Rainbow six you could run in a shoot shit and still win splinter cell you really want to stay away from that rainbow six was like a really really shitty version of spinter cell if you want to compare Rainbbow six wasn't worth much it took me and a friend 5 hours to beat. it wasn't hard enought and there wasn't much stealth involed but if you liked rainbow six and you like a more stelthy approch go for it if all you do in run in a shoot forget it

I don't think it's far bette rthan MGS like some thought it would be.

I actually think it's a bit overated. It's definately purchase material, but it's not this godlike game or anything.

I rented it and it's so damn hard.

If crave to multi Player option get ghost recon it is a nice multi player game and is a little similar to splinter cell ie shot out lights

Well, this is definitely a good single player tactical game. I actually am glad its not a multiplayer game, and actually, I don't even think it could be.

lol I understand that but I am jus not sure which to invest my money in some game that I will beat and be done with or an online game that'll keep me coming back for more. So my view point is tooken from that and not me considering this as a multiplayer game..

Hmmm, that is quite the dilema. IMO, I'd rather get Splinter Cell and just play the hell out of it the first time. Explore every little option, try to redo each and every part for maximum optimization and to have the best health, bullets, etc. I think this game can be an awesome game that could take up a lot of time. Also, it'll save ya the extra monthly costs! ;)

By the time you do every possible route for this game and every possibility to passing a level and everything, you will be playing until like Splinter Cell 2 comes out or some shit because you can't outdo it...and plus...you should master a game before you get bored with it...as in with this game...don't use the gun at all...just grabbing/knocking out/punching...sneak up on em like a real stealth man instead of sitting in a corner of the courtyard on the second mission and going PAP PAP PAP at the 3 guys...yeah any of you who have played and are reading this , you know you fuckers did it :p lol ... but yeah this game is definitely worth it. I love it.

I did it, but I started over already because I learned my lesson. Stupid me was even shooting out all the damn lights in the building that was on fire in every room, such a waste....

Ahhh--!!! I don't get why everyone loves this game so much. I guess it's just because I'm a Metal Gear whore, so Splinter Cell didn't do much for me at all. I agree that the light sourcing and shading are overly done, but the character models and overall feel just doesn't touch the Metal Gear Solid series.

It is really hard, but not the discouraging hard, the god damnit, this shit is fucking hard to figure out and I know I can do it better next time hard. If that makes sense...

I just bought this game last week, and it is very hard. No you cant just blast your way through, you have to be stealh like crawl on pipes above you and stuff. It is also hard to find ammo. Some missions you arent even aloud to shoot anybody or set off a alarm. I also have Halo, but I can't say if I like one better then the other because they are both very good. I am currently on the 2nd mission on Splinter Cell, and I have had it for a week lol, so thats gotta tell you something about its difficulty.

tell you the truth i bought it christmas too and love it but if its not hard then why buy a game i love hard games for a challenge and i beat the fourth level the first week i had it.
